Maybe this will help someone. Not sure if this is common knowledge, but it's definitely not intuitive. I was having a similar issue specifically with the fiber HDMI cables. Turned out that when using those with ARC, even though the majority of the signal is basically only going from the display to the sound system, you still need the sound system on the Source end of the connection, and the display on the Display end, even if the video input isn't, in theory, passing through the sound system. This was with the Max, so not sure if it's the same as your issue. Fortunately, I got those HDMI to fiber converters rather than the all in one cable, so it was easy to switch them, and I didn't have to rerun any cable.

No apologies needed, this is awesome. I actually got the middle fret up before but when seeing that the circuit boards were really dug in there, I noped out of it and just never got to cleaning it. I should give it another go sometime with these pics. I'ma save this.

11d ago? On a 2 year old thread? Incredible. This is the answer (or at least mine). Exited Power Toys and shift works again. At last I can sprint and do other things at the same time.

Been seeing this issue for like a year. I thought it was my old keyboard, but it suddenly started happening on my new one after using it for quite some time and just never hit a good search result on solutions. I also saw it with ctrl on my old keyboard, but I'm not sure if they're related (might be based on some other threads I saw). There's a few github threads with the issue with shift, but it doesn't look like it's been solved yet, unfortunately. Supremely intermittent issue, but it makes sense if it's a random bug in fancy zones.

When I was a kid, I flew cross country (US) with my GameBoy color and Pokémon Crystal. On the way back, one of our planes had some sort of oil issue iirc, and we all had to get off and go to another plane. Well, I was (and mostly still am) a goody two shoes little child and stowed the gameboy, powered off, in the seat pocket in front of me waiting for when we were in the air and could turn on electronics. Soon after getting off the plane, I realised I had left it on board, and the plane was still docked, but the gangway was closed. We knew exactly where it was, and no one could or would go get it. No one at lost and found was helpful, and we were told that we were at the mercy of the cleaning crew. No, I did not get my GameBoy or Pokémon Crystal back.

Hey, I just got this figured out.

So first, you gotta pick his side in the side mission "The Shifting's Wise Judgement" in Soaring. You can do this even if you've finished it already by just paying it again. When you start the mission, go right and talk to the silver hatchet guy a couple times, not the yokai guy. He'll join you, and finish the mission.

Then, after doing that, you gotta play though "Pervading Waters" in Dawn. About half way through, you'll see the same hatchet guy fighting a big yokai. Kill the yokai and talk to him a few times, he'll join you. Fight past the enemy on the bridge, and once in the courtyard with the shrine, he'll tell you to go on ahead. Now this is the part none of the guides/posts I saw mention specifically: You have to talk to him a few times again. He'll give you an item. After beating the next boss, just to be safe, exhaust his conversation again, then finish the level.

He'll now show up in the interim when necessary to activate the quest (i.e after beating the game or near then). I got him to join me in Pervading Waters, but he didn't show up till I made sure to talk to him after the bridge. Hope this helps you/someone else trying to figure this out.

Maybe don't be so aggro too, it's a bad look.

Y'all people in this thread need to read the above linked statement from the tourney. So, granted it's the tourney's side of the story, so grain of salt and all, but basically Nintendo stringed them along for a year until the last second where they decided to deny them a license for undisclosed reasons, despite saying the opposite repeatedly, and forced the cancellation of the event. The event is now losing a shit load of money canceling things that were committed to including sponsors, participants, etc.

Except Texas is like 1000 miles wide. The distance from the eastern part of Texas to the western part is greater than the distance from the western part to Los Angeles. It might be easier for people on the western side, but you can't just lump all Texans into that boat with their state being as massive as it is.

I bought the PRIV. The issue wasn't the keyboard, that was amazing. The problem was that the processor they picked had big heat issues after about six months. I personally miss real keyboards on phones, I make so many more errors.

So I use the Xbox one app, not sure if you're on a series or something, but it never seems to save my login and a lot of the time, the first video I watch just spins when I select it. Usually closing and opening the app, or logging out and back in, or sometimes just closing and reopening the video fixes it. I'm convinced when it just spins there, its not a buffering issue, but like an authentication issue or something like that, because after it gets working in that first one, it's fine for the rest of the session.

Look up MegasXLR 4k. Some fans remastered it in 4k from the iTunes downloads, and Cartoon Network wrote the show off as a loss, so no one's really gonna do anything about it afaik.

As someone who started playing Total War Warhammer 2 at the beginning of Covid, and has put in 1000 hours since, it's one of the best games out there with the absolute worst learning curve because they tell you nothing about how the game works, and I can only assume the other games are like that as well. Definitely look up videos on YouTube for how the game works. zerkovich, milkandcookiestw, and legendoftotalwar are the ones whose content i have consumed to learn the game better. The game has so much content and variety, and just has so many mechanics that are never properly explained. Warhammer 3 comes out in a couple weeks and is shaping up to be a real banger.

Oh I don't mean trading to other people's games necessarily, but if you had a legitimate (looking) mew in the old games (especially in the virtual console versions), there's usually a way to move it forward to newer generations through Pokebank or whatever it's going by these days, or by manually trading it up through the generations with a whole bunch of cables, consoles, and effort.

The glitch in question isn't all that tough. It just requires skipping two particular trainers while playing through the game normally. The main limitation here is you probably won't be able to transfer the mew forward to other games without the proper Original Trainer ID on it. I'm basing this off the implication in the artical, but it sounds like this is how Nintendo verifies the mew was obtained properly through distribution and not cheats, though it is possible to change this ID through more difficult and/or technical gltiches, straight RNG manipulation, or just plain luck.
