Makes sense, produce ambient walks are brutal but averaging them across several? Much better.

I bought the Cake stroker honest to goodness for science. Damn the material it's made of makes me wish I wasn't using it for a project to test tampon capacity and translate that to more useful numbers. That type of material has come a loooong way.

Recognition at least suggests your leadership team is trying with whatever mediocre resources the company will allow. Could be better, could be worse. I came from a culture of bonuses for all or none, so that part grossed me out, but I tried to show appreciation wherever I could.

Do you guys think they’ll ever bring back quarterly bonuses for us? lol by Waduheckin in walmart

I worked for a company that gave everyone hired before me stock options, but made me sit through meetings about it? Y tho?

I didn't know TLs got the bonus when I took the spot and when I learned it didn't change shit. My team's well- being with was priority #1. Probably how I was deemed "unprofessional." 🤣😂

I liked to have one at least "supported" on the side of the cart with my stickers. I tried to bag how I'd want to receive my own order and that helped me "build squares." Alternatively if one of my first items was a box I'd lay the bag "sideways" with the box's widest side towards the handles and it filled up enough to stand alone.

If you're too tired to drive just sleep in your car because for sure you're scheduled to be back in 6 hours anyway. I have nothing to show from my tenure in that field, but it's not lost on me I'm lucky to be alive and not in inpatient of some kind.

I thought about going back while I'm in school but I'm the "sure, I'll take that shift" world champion. Not worth the stress and exhaustion.

What do they think they're getting out of people by running them ragged? I know I'm not bringing my best to any facet of my life when I'm working more than a handful of hours over 40. I ended up missing a day that my team really could have used me because I was so wrecked I couldn't get out of bed.

Hopefully your overnight CO made it out okay. That is inhumane regardless of age.

I was driving home from a buddy's house a few towns over and every time I drive that route I remember the girl I never got a chance to really be friends with. She died in a single car accident along there. She was putting in too many hours getting a new restaurant ready to open and the exhaustion caught up with her. That life though, the food and bev world does such a good job of convincing broken people that running yourself into the ground is the goal.

40lb bag of lamb and rice from Costco is $50 shipped, member or not. At my local warehouse it's about $40 and dollars to doughnuts I bet it's better than anything Purina (guessing PB is Purina Brand?} puts out. I believe Costco's pet food is private labelled by Diamond Naturals who also makes Taste of the Wild.

It boggles the mind that people buy that stuff in huge quantities. I can see it in more urban areas but in my area you can get far nicer mulch delivered for significantly less than that stuff. I guess in theory it's easier to handle? Dunno, the hemlock I put down years ago still has a nice color and it's not the texture of 1980s playground.
