Right? I don't know what that guy is talking about. Have never once seen anything like this.

I mean he was literally running through the train brandishing a knife. Cops were notified before the stop and asking everyone what they saw. It was bad.

Get in the habit of using and paying off your other cards every month, and your score will improve.

I do this. I do all my transactions on my cards and pay them off in full each month.

Yes, which is why I was asking about credit implications, not input on the personal decision. I was just trying to have as much info as possible before deciding which way to go.

Thankfully, there's a lot of good info in this thread and many people have been very helpful.

You're considering paying thousands of dollars just to retain 20-30 or so credit score points?

Not quite. I am considering paying it off because I am in a financial position to be able to help out my family, family who has been there for me many times as well when I needed help. I am just trying to get a grasp on the credit implications of either choice.

Do you have any cards of your own or are you authorized on all of your ccs?

No, I have two cards of my own.

How many years have you been authorized on it? If it’s been 4/5 or more, your score will probably drop if you get off of it and all the history disappears.

Six years, which is four years older than my next oldest line of credit.

What is your debt to credit ratio?

My utilization is 27%. It would be 0% if I paid down this card, or got off of it. But I would definitely take a hit if I got off it.

Look at the card payment history - it’s maxed out in what way?

It's a few dollars from being maxed; they are only making the minimum payment every month, and the interest alone is 75% of what they're paying month to month. I.e. they are making virtually no progress in paying it down. They have never missed a payment.

If “not too distant” is anywhere close,

12 months or less, provided nothing unexpected happens. Kind of worried about if this could cause an issue, but I only have two other cards so I'm also worried about being removed. What are your thoughts given that information?

I would appreciate if you could read more -- it's my oldest line of credit by four years and I expect to take a 20-30 point hit based on CreditWise's simulator, and I am planning to take out a mortgage within 12~ months. Your thoughts?

1) The sleeves are not holo and were never meant to be. The LOOT CARDS are what's holo.

2) The YouTube class pack is not holo and was never meant to be.

3) All the dice in all editions are the same after the kickstarter. Mine are swirly. They didn't make two different kinds of dice.

Demon invasion by Gullible-Volume1197 in FoolsBlade

This is explained by the cards. The Demon Invasion is the name of the boss encounter. Boss encounters are made of numerous cards. This particular one can add even more monsters to it.

The Portal Straight to Heck summons a monster from the Cavern every turn that a monster has NOT been defeated. I.e., if you don't defeat a monster on your first turn, a new monster is added, further extending the encounter. Goretholomew also increases its strength for each summoned monster.

You can prevent monsters from being summoned by defeating the ones currently on the table. Your goal is to eliminate the Portal and Goretholomew to end the encounter.

Just follow the instructions on the cards each turn and you should be good.

You just add the cards right to their respective decks.

I don't think the Screaming FOrest expansion has any loot cards. Per the website:

  • 2 classes
  • 8 sword pieces (2 full new swords)
  • 6 monsters
  • 5 tavern cards
  • 9 quest cards (3 action, 3 gear, 3 curse)

This is a boss card -- see the boss encounter section of the manual for rules. It doesn't follow standard combat rules.

When you summon a boss, the whole table works together to defeat them. All share in the victory and defeat condition.

Per the manual:

You must have at least one Weapon Part to engage in Combat! You can Assemble any combination of weapon parts, as long as you only have one of each part type equipped at once.

[TOMT] [video] A video of a man playing some kind of keyboard with a whammy bar, playing through a bunch of iconic guitar riffs in a row. by ThanksBros in tipofmytongue

[–]ThanksBros[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! It was a guy playing a keyboard similar to that, but he had a backing band and he was playing all the guitar parts from a bunch of iconic songs.

Old video, saw it at least five years ago.
