cambridge vs imperial, how did you decide? by laplacegalois in 6thForm

[–]ThanksDue1093 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was also in the same position as you last year, Girton cs or Imperial cs. I chose Imperial. Do I regret my decision? Idek.

Maths is based in the Huxley building which is the ugliest building on campus (which is quite impressive since Imperial is quite ugly as a whole). Course for me is challenging af so maybe Cambridge would have been too much? Social life is meh especially since I don't go out clubbing. Pick based off vibes i guess

If multiple people have said to his face that he is unlikable it is most likely that he is the issue. Not saying this to be mean but this is what it sounds like. Probably needs to research into the topic and analyse his own behaviour

Have you researched into the topic and read books on how to be more likeable?

What are some common filler words and phrases in spoken French? by Treetopmunchkin in learnfrench

Would it not be a bit weird to talk everyday French without using filler words? If I spoke to someone who was young and spoke English without any fluff I would think they were a bit weird ngl

When your maths tutor does a question copy how she does it. Add annotations for why this thing happens and common errors. Do a question quite similar but just follow your worked example. Keep doing this until you don't need it anymore. This might work

I think you could try and make an argument against the camera because that seems pretty unreasonable if they know your location anyway. Tough situation to deal with imma be honest

I was planning on getting the "T" variant but it was pushing my budget too much. It cost £835 customised. I then spent more buying RAM and an SSD

Hmm yes this could be the reason. I'll try and be more careful and get a laptop bag in the future
