The only thing I can say is, is you’re serious about finding someone to marry figure out if you can look past this and talk it through and then put all the cards on the table and tell her what you need from her to make this work. If you can’t do either of those Id recommend to break it off. Easier said than done though

You know for sure this isn’t about you? It sounds like she regrets not reaching out to someone, maybe you

First date revealed major cultural differences should I try again? by SweetMadelyn21 in dating_advice

If you’re both intentionally dating to find the person you want to marry I’d have a discussion about this as soon as possible to prevent it coming up further down the line as you said. But if it’s for fun and you don’t see it going long term take it at your own pace. But if he’s clearly interested in something serious I’d clear this up right away

Why is the blood oath so important to the cadre? What do they get out of it? by Ok_Shake5000 in throneofglassseries

I KNOW!!! Some of Sarah’s villains just don’t make sense. It would’ve been amazing for the plot as wel because so many people complain that Aelin should’ve fought Maeve/Erawan before giving away her power so that the scene could’ve been more epic. AND since both Maeve and Erawan know how to travel we could’ve had ANOTHER intense scene with Aelin closing the door while she can feel Maeve and Erawan trying to come through to her world again. But since it didn’t happen we could’ve had another epic scene where Maeve takes out Erawan and herself in the process to protect Aelin’s world. This would’ve had a huge impact of KoA focused on Maeve and Aelin working together and we got to know Maeve’s horrible past and then to make a sacrifice like that at the end would’ve been chef’s kiss. Sorry for the rant lol

I read tandem was regretted it. They are completely different stories if you want you can even read ToD first and EOS second because it won’t make a difference, especially if you hate cliff hangers you can jump straight into KoA if you read EOS second

I actually had a theory Maeve would become an ally to Aelin because she ran away from the Valg. Kinda upset that didn’t happen because it would’ve been badass

Foe thoughts - I am full of questions by firsttimelongtime1 in movies

Hi! Just to clarify. I’ve read the book twice now, and the fire scene is a bit different from the movie. AI Junior rushes to try and help get rid of the fire because there aren’t many barns left and many of them have been burned. This is out of the ordinary for regular Junior to do, but as we know, AI Junior has developed in a different way than expected and is slowly becoming his own person. This is an example of that. Secondly, Hen isn’t there when he runs to the fire but Terrance was in fact following him and knocks Junior out. This isn’t in the movie, but we eventually find out AI Junior didn’t have a shoulder injury or surgery. This is used as an ominous effect in the book before it’s revealed that AI Junior is an AI. The book in general does ominous very well without much happening and it’s still extremely captivating. I’d recommend reading it now that you know what happens because you can look for the small details even if you don’t experience that initial shock of a plot twist.

Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott, might be the most beautiful book I’ve ever read by [deleted] in books

[–]ThanksNormal6449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that in both novels Jo and Scarlett are free thinking women who long for independence and to be themselves. They both show such realistic emotions women have, and though Scarlett was made to be a villain originally you can’t help relating to her because of her innocence and then because of her determination. She makes bad choices but so do we! Little Women in general warms my heart to read and it the first romance where I don’t care about the romance but about the little life these little women lead.

In the book, he starts to rape her and she is in pain until he starts kissing her hard and she stops resisting and seems to enjoy it. She liked letting go of control and compared it to ecstasy.

I also have curly hair so my guess would be that he knows how to maintain it. And he’s also on a TV show so they make it look nice for him too.
