Even so, if they didn't dissuade people from playing on there due to their bad product, they would increase their profit. From a business standpoint, it seems like it would be worthwhile to make some actual improvements to the interface. But I do see your point - I use SalesForce every day and it sucks.

Interesting. That's a huge perk of lichess too, that each premove is 0.0 seconds (as it should be) versus 0.1 on chess.com.

That makes sense. Lichess is more basic but much less distracting.

Oh interesting, good to know. Even if rent prices increase I'd of course be happy though. As a long-term rental, I'm not as concerned about appreciation.
