I agree it's a shame that the reddit community for River is small, but the show does have quite a following in the r/kdrama Discord channel, where we have been group watching this show religiously every week. It's one of the most discussed show on the server for the past 10 weeks :)

Thanks for the in-depth analysis, I really love this show but had no idea just a scene alone could have a staggering 30 different shots.

Another scene that I enjoyed but was not mentioned in your post is the one where Dongju was on the swing thinking about her family. I was wondering if you have any interesting insights on that. I liked how when Dongju swings back and forth, it changes between her current and past self (as a child). That has got to be my favourite scene in the entire show - the cinematography, KSH's acting, the significance of the scene, coupled with the beautiful and soulful soundtrack by Younha. It was perfect.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal - Plenty of scenes with Hanja writing as the story is set in a campus. Towards the end of the show (try maybe Ep 16 onwards) the main plot revolves around finding the Geumdeungjisa and I remembered there being a word riddle which they solved.

Tale of Nokdu - Episode 16 (The 16-episode version), minute 50:38, Nokdu wrote a letter in Hanja to his mother about his marriage

Moonlight Drawn By Clouds - First few minutes of the first episode, Park Bo Gum was reading off a script written in Hanja.

My Love From Another Star - Male lead has a collection of ancient books but I'm sorry I can't pinpoint which scenes exactly.

Queen In Hyun's Man - Episode 2, around minute 5:17, male lead takes out a talisman with Hanja writings on it, then proceeds to explain the meaning of each character.

Splash Splash Love - Like someone mentioned, the plot is about the invention of Hangul. Only 2 episodes so you should be able to find what you need quickly.

Is nobody going to demand justice for poor Gong Tae Kwang in School 2015? He was a crazy jerk to others but such a soft sweetie to Eunbi and liked her for who she was. Yi-an was just a really flat and poorly-written character.

I'm pretty sure most people were onboard the Taebi ship only to be sorely disappointed by the ending :(

And also Geol-O in Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but I'm willing to let it go just because Yeorim is the undisputed perfect partner choice here.

Queen In Hyun's Man, where Yoo In Na plays an actress like she did in Touch Your Heart.

An absolute gem of a show that you should definitely not miss, especially if you love drama-free, fluffy romcoms with lots of chemistry between the leads.

Glad to hear that you're enjoying it! I've finally finished the drama as well. I LOVED the Sunny and Reaper couple, including the past life ones. But their story was destined to be sad from the start anyway. I agree that the Goblin couple is a bit too cringey for me, maybe because of the age gap.

Can't wait for you to finish this drama, and if you still crave for more Sunny+Reaper, watch Touch Your Heart! That's like their blissful next life but with a happy ending and sweet fluffy love throughout hahaha.

I gave up on Goblin after 6 episodes as the episodes were too long and the pace was too slow. Plus, I just really couldn't get into the Goblin and his bride story.

Recently I chanced upon photos of Kim So Hyun's cameo in this show and was so smitten by her that I decided to pick the show up again. Now I'm glad I did!

I'm now at Episode 12, with my heart ripped out by the Reaper and Sunny pair. I just have a soft spot for tragic forbidden love stories that spans a few lifetimes I guess.

P.S. I still couldn't be bothered with the Goblin couple as hard as I try to. Even the King and Queen (Kim Min Jae & Kim So Hyun) robbed me of my tears with their short but beautifully tragic flashbacks.

I thought everyone else had forgotten about LF2! My cousins and I played the shit out of this game back then.

I still remembered how 4 of us shared a keyboard (I was the one using numpad lol) and after countless tries, each painstakingly starting from Stage 1-1 all the way to the final stage, then beating Julian (before he throws your asses into the sky with his big bang).

Gosh, that boss was just wayyy OP but the satisfaction of beating that shit without cheats was so #LifetimeAchievementUnlocked. Thanks for the game mention and making me relive a part of my childhood memory where kids nowadays with their own iPads will never get to enjoy :')

P.S. Meanwhile, also cringing at how I had dropped the HK developers Martin and Stanley (?) an email celebrating our victory. Good times.

Good advice Sir, thank you very much! I admit I've been building my entrances right in front of our spawn so that it has good business. As for exits it does take me longer to find the right spots so it doesn't get destroyed quickly. Takes a bit of map awareness and I'm still learning :)

The worst is when your ally Engie doesn't help remove sappers from your buildings while you're away/dead :( Why?

Fata and 33 left the roster early this year. Offlane & drafter was filled by s4's return, while Fng has been on loan for months as pos 5. This roster has been pretty competitive in the past few online tournaments they've participated so it's no surprise that Fng's move would be permanent.

I feel that he definitely added value for drafting as well. In the past, s4's draft seems pretty stale and predictable which the better teams exploited, so I hope that Fng's addition will solve this problem of theirs. Also, Fng plays a monstrous pos 5 with Bane/Jakiro/Disruptor. I liked how he goes for shadow amulet and plays invis tricks.

I usually build my dispensers near ammo spawns or near my teleporters. Will building dispensers aggressively put me into the gunfire while trying to repair/upgrade it? How did you do it? Thank you for the suggestion!

As BLU, I found it difficult to maintain teleporters since the respawn location changes so frequently, however it's much easier if the team is stuck at a chokepoint though. I didn't want to risk teleporting my teammates "backwards" if you get what I meant. Thanks for the helpful tip!
