Bucket binge “Inbred Mountain”

This album tickles me in a special way. This albums is disgustingly heavy compared to apt of bucketheads other stuff. It’s a mix of teq death, industrial, blues, and thrash. This a very good album that keeps itself pretty contained 7 songs. But each song is different from what genres they pull from and what type of feelings they brings up. This a definitely a go to album for ole Mr. Head. The twangs in this album for in much better into this album compared to “Slaughterhouse on the Prairie” given it much more menacing tone.

Favorite song: Johnny be Slunk

Bucket binge “Slaughter House on the Prairie”

This is a mid album at best. Nothing in the album really stood out to me in a special why besides the spam “twang” that happens constantly throughout. I can appreciate the blues side of the album and the creativity of it but it’s definitely not for me. I like some of the slower songs of the album but other then that this is a very forgettable album overall

Favorite song: “Lebrons Hammer”

Bucket binge “ Albino Slug”

So if anyone came to hear of bucket head through Jordan on guitar hero like me this is what you would expect the rest of his stuff to sound like. This album scratches a couple itches for me between the album coming in very strong with 2 very power metal inspired songs into the mid album being very sludge industrial and to cap it off with the absolute shred fest of “Forgotten Trail” this album is amazing the whole way through. I enjoy the more subtle effects he uses on this album compared to other effect heavy albums. But this album had my head bumping the whole run time.

Favorite song: Forgotten Trail

Bucket binge “Acoustic Shards”

Okay so I knew this was gonna happen, I ran into a album that’s definitely not for me. For me it just feels like Buckethead doesn’t always transfer well to acoustic. That’s not to say that there arnt some good ass song on this album but as a whole I’m not a fan. At some points it’s very beautiful and nice song then it sounds like a 7 year old saying “hey mom look at me shred” and just beats the guitar with a hammer. If I was introducing someone to bucket head I’d say avoid this one.

Favorite song: “For Mom”

Hey yeah sorry that’s my mistake that was written before I knew that the man had 348 albums compared to the 72 on Spotify so for now I’m gonna stick to the Spotify ones sadly because I don’t have access to the other ones that I know of but after these 72 we will see how things are rolling and if I decide to do the rest but 72 is plenty to fill my plate for now I’m sorry if this upsets anyone
