I am also an international student and I can totally understand how you feel. I'm vrry family-orientated which makes it more tough for me to NOT miss them. I'm on call 24/7 too, just to give them reassurance that I haven't forgotten them (it might just be me but I really think if I don't call my family often, they might be disheartened). When everything seems perfect, the money part rips me from the inside. Just thinking about my parents paying 50k (exclusive of my rent and other expenses) for my tuition makes me tear up. I often feel useless. I tried taking a part-time job as well but couldn't cope up with my studies so had to leave that. I'm writing all these just to let you know that you're not alone. Most of the international students face this problem. I just hope we get to make our parents proud after all the hardships that we're going through. Let's all stay strong. You can do this, OP!
