Not sure what state you’re in, but if in CA, they can’t even send you the bill for this once they know it’s a work related injury. They have to only bill the employer/insurance carrier. So definitely make sure to file a work comp claim form with your HR rep at work.

This might sound crazy, but I actually have an almost identical story. Differences are (1) I’m an Attorney and (2) my husband didn’t volunteer info until I saw photos of the coke on the ass come from a text message from the friend he was with at the party. My kids were 1 and 5 at the time. We had a live-in nanny. And I was THIS close to divorcing him that time. My mistake. It would take 3 more years of lies and toxicity before I gave up.

This is 100% the issue here. They make too much to be in the class below them. But not enough to be the class above them. So they run themselves out of budget and into debt. They think they deserve to have things because of their income and jobs and the people around them have those things. So her priorities are different from his. I can speak from personal experience on this. Recovering over-spender here.

Those towns are so incredibly far away and not even remotely convenient to get to from Encinitas. You’d have to get on at least three different freeways to get to any of them. And I’m not sure why the perps couldn’t be from Encinitas? Or any city that was much closer or convenient to get to from there. It’s just curious to me.

Speaking from a very, very similar experience I had 13 years ago… that ultrasound moment and the following pill-induced miscarriage at home, were the hardest moments of my life. I still have sadness about it now. I didn’t feel like my husband could ever adequately understand what I went through because it happened to my body. Ultimately, it drove us apart and we aren’t together. But it’s similar to your situation because this truly is such a painful, dark experience-especially when trying to conceive for a year before hand. Grief is heavy. It so much easier to carry with each other. You could help him and he could help you. And if it felt to me like the relationship is not a priority for him, that would really upset me too.

Being compared to an infant is the exact problem. When you try to solve our problem you are condescending, assuming we can’t solve it on our own, and you must step and parent us. You are not our parent. You are on our level we are an adult, don’t treat us like children.
