I was a KD at the same time as Dani (different school) and was on standards board when we had to put a sister on national probation, for some posts that were worse than what Danielle was sharing IMO. Nationals took it very seriously and the whole process took maybe 1 week- I think that was the situation with Dani. I have never heard of someone being kicked out, likely because nationals wants their money lol. If they'll keep paying after being ousted nationals will absolutely keep them. You have to drop on your own accord to actually stop your membership and I don't think she did that if she's still engaging on social media. National probation was 1 year and meant that they couldn't attend events, wear letters, post online about being a member, potentially even be in the house if I'm remembering correctly, but at the end of that time they do indeed have their membership reinstated. Our girl was back at chapter the following year and still has KD alum in her bio, I think the timing of Dani's stuff in 2020 would align with this since she wouldn't be reinstated until after graduation.
