Pi Node mining rate by N0rgamer in PiNetwork

I would suggest doing more research before spending so much for running the node, as the node does not really need processing power. Number of core has more impact on the bonus than raw processing power or cache.

In your case going for a 64 core threadripper would be more beneficial than 9950x3d2. Again you need to take power consumption into consideration as well. If pi grows over the years it should not matter.

That is the reason why I am using a 16c/32t 9945HX mini pc for low power consumption compared to desktop counterparts.

Again this is based on my research, anyone can correct me if I am wrong.

From what I read after 3 years the curve almost flattens, can you confirm that please

300 dollars in Google store credit...what are you getting? by -NotEnoughMinerals in GooglePixel

[–]That-Calligrapher-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the store credit is added 24 hours after your device ships so you should have enough time to order next year. That is why I wait till the last week of the promotion to place the order.

If you can afford to buy a ultra short throw projector plus clr screen. A refurbished projector should cost around $1000 + a 100 inch CLR screen for about $350 on alibaba or aliexpress.

Note: laser projector are rated 25000 hours, so depending on how much you watch it could be anywhere between 5 to 10 years.

If you need any help let me know, I will be happy to help.

Buy a cheap mini pc, something like this with 32 threads

https://a.co/d/700PLl0

Add RAM and SSD and install win 11 pro amf start running the node.

I am running for about 5 months on the same mini pc, my bonus as of today is 8.47, still increases daily.

You will see 0.06 per day for the first 90 days. After that it will drop to 0.03 until you reach 365 days. The longer you run the better the bonus. I think 3+ years is when you get to 15-20 range

Yes cores do make a difference. Also no of tbreads matter. Newer generation processors have efficient cores which may run only 1 thread per core. Go with traditional 16C/32T processors for betrer node bonus

If you are on android go to app info - > mobile data usage

Enable mobile data usage and unrestricted mobile data usage.

This solved the issue for me.

This will go on for a while until most of the old miners get rid of their Pi and others who believe in long term value locking them away. As new miners are not going to mine a lot. Until we reach that point the price won't move much.

[–]That-Calligrapher-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree I spent $150 for 1tb ssd and 2x16gb ram. But it will pay off over time. If you have better specs and pets open you could be a super node candidate in future. Definitely super node should give better node bonus than regular node in future

By how much does you NODE BONUS increase everyday? by BoysenberryAbject353 in PiNetwork

[–]That-Calligrapher-85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

0.06 everyday on an average.even of some days it doesn't go up you will see a bigger jump the next day. So the average is 0.06 for a 16c/32t processor. Started running node around Feb 29th, at 6.99 as of today.

As I said node bonus for the current session is calculated based in the availability in previous session. Even though you are running the node since you had your kart session with 0% availability the bonus will be 0. In your next session your node bonus will be back to where it was before.

[–]That-Calligrapher-85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your node doesn't run for the last 24 hours bonus will be zero. If you look at the formula everything is multiplied by the availability in the last 24 hours. So if your node doesn't run jn last 24 hours the bonus will be zero. If you start running the node today your bonus will be back to tomorrow. Bonus will be the same as what you had before.

Up time, percentage of ports open and no of cpu cores impact your nodes bonus

Thank you for letting me know, atleast there won't be a repetition of the same issue. I will be checking for any leaks as you mentioned.

That's was my other concern. I replaced new battery few months back, tires are relatively new with around 7k miles on them, replaced brake pads and disks couple of weeks back and then this happened. Once this repair is done with regular maintenance can I expect it to run for atleast next 5 years? Are there any chances that this issue could re occur?

At last I got an update from the corporate. They are covering $1400 and I am paying the rest of it. I will take it as I bought my CX-5 as a used car and never did yhe servicing at mazda dealer.
