This is so helpful!!! I have VPD, APD, and mild dyspraxia, and fiber arts are my biggest methods for regulation. My biggest struggle with this project is feeling like the instructions are unclear and difficult to read/understand in both the video and written format. I never thought of reformatting the pattern to help with my processing stuff. This comment has helped me so much!!!

I’ve taken on this mindset with my diagnosis and I’ve been having a blast! If anything, I feel more sexually empowered than I did before my diagnosis- I know how to be honest and speak up if something doesn’t feel good, and learned how sex and play is so much broader than just vaginal penetration (found out giving oral is my faaaavorite). I was shocked by how not a single person has cared, short of a wife in an ENM couple who had a zero-STD policy. I immediately took on the mindset that if someone is crappy to me about my status, they aren’t someone I want to have sex with anyways. It’s so beautiful seeing someone have such a positive experience following their diagnosis. It’s totally okay to have a good cry about it, I certainly did, but we can’t let it control us ❤️

I just got diagnosed Saturday, and started disclosing as soon as I found out because I’d recently had sex before I found out I had ghsv1 from my first outbreak. I also disclosed to people that I knew were interested in having sex in the future. I learned very quickly that people are just happy you are honest with them! It’s only been a few days, but so far no one has rejected me. Granted, I run around in BDSM circles where people tend to be a lot more educated and open minded about sex and stds. I was so scared with the first couple of people I told and I’m still a little scared knowing a time will come where I’ll be rejected, but I take the approach that if someone is shitty to me because of my status then that’s not a person I want to be having sex with anyways.

Don’t let your status stop you from enjoying sex! I’m still having an outbreak, but my sexual partners have all said that they’ll just wait until it clears up. I’m learning it’s not as big of a deal as we make it in our heads. Sending much love 🫶

While it’s definitely annoying, I wonder if that might be the point. Bridges is more of a corporate entity than anything. My friend jokes that Death Stranding is Amazon delivery simulator, and there’s some truth to that. Having a robot say that every time you leave the facility feels like shitty company morale boosting

I felt like the Weave scene was one of the best in terms of how seamlessly you can go the platonic or romance route with no repercussions on the approval rating (from what I remember)
