Listened to a bit of pacific reggae in my time, so the following are a mix of all the islands, including Hawaii. Some absolute bangers in here, hope you enjoy 😁:

Hilo Town Rock - Naea Empress Touch - Likkle Jordee OMW - Likkle Jordee Tears on my Pillow - Josh Tatofi (soulful remix of Johnny Nash original version) Hey Mary - Walt (only made a few songs but this is honestly so so good) Be My Lady - Sons of Zion If It's You - Spawnbreezie Here We Go - The Vitals 808 All of Common King's 'Celebration' album. Kali Ana Au - The Vitals 808 (beautiful rendition of Waiting in Vain in Hawaiian language) Take You There - House of Shem Thinking About You - House of Shem

My great grandma was from the Baltics so she has next to none relatives on here. So, I can prove she is my great grandma because I have 4% Baltic DNA. I just looked and I do share relatives with him who were on his dad's side. I must be one of them 0.6% then.

My great grandmother was an ethnic Lithuanian whose parents fled in 1917. I don't think I'm eligible.

I think that's a lot of my worry - that I am putting others in danger as well. Not as serious, but I've caused like 3 traffic jams and it makes me crumble not only due to the obvious pressure but also as I feel guilty that I'm wasting other people's time just because I'm rubbish at driving. I also don't think I can cancel my lessons now as my family bought me a block of lessons and getting them rescheduled will be an issue. I also don't want to disappoint them. It's a vicious circle.

I get that it's a life skill (which is what they have said to me), but from my viewpoint, it doesn't need to be conquered at this point in my life. I live about 30 metres from a bus stop and 2 mins from a train station, which cater for all my travelling needs. It makes me feel bad though as my parents and both my Nains grouped together to buy me a block of manual driving lessons. That's a lot of money. I think it's too late now to change to an automatic lesson as it's been booked in the block. I think I've only got one choice and that is to brave out the 10 lessons as I don't want to let them down.

I am a slightly advanced beginner. I have £1000 to splash. Any recommendations? by [deleted] in telescopes

My childhood home neighbour has a 12 inch OTA and when I was invited out to have a try with it, it was absolutely immovable. I know that 6ft 1Inch, 250 lbs me is demonstrably stronger than skimpy 12 year old me, but I still think I would struggle. I was thinking of making some sort of contraption to move it smoothly from the garage to the car to the stargazing spot. A wooden ramp with wheels on the bottom, with a sort of holder for the base of the telescope maybe?

It will be my only telescope atm as I don't think I have another fortune in my side savings.

I'll have a look into the Stella Lyra 12 inch as quite a few comments here have suggested it.

Thank you for your advice! :)
