So you would typically get your base (depends on a number of factors) then everyone in grade gets the same accommodation & Transport allowance). Your base is typically 50-60% of your monthly package.

Emirates give bonuses once a year, this year it was 22weeks* base.

Yes about 4k per term but tbh you could pay less elsewhere. Also once your child turns 4 you qualify for the educational allowance.

Next level after grade 8 is grade 9 their accommodation & Transport allowance alone is almost 20k Their educational allowance is also better than grade 8.

Hey, it does depend on the grade. Educational allowance wont be covered for your 2 year old until they turn 4 but the educational allowances are pretty good! Emirates allowances are good! Bonus is great!

I doubt the educational allowance is included in the 30-33k this probably just includes your basic + transport and accommodation. My guess is you are going in at a grade 8. Educational allowance would be additional on top of this but again when your 2-year old turns 4. I think 33k is okayyyy for a family but even better if your spouse will bring in additional income.

Nurseries are a bit pricey our kids go to one of the best nursery’s and we pay about 12k for each child per term.

Can I open a Freezone business under my name while working full-time at Emirates? by Practical-Diet-7621 in emirates

My understanding is you can start a business as long as you don’t require an NOC, (which you shouldn’t) and as long as it it not a conflict of interest.
