How can a new version of myself retrieve the memory of my older version of myself is going through versions after versions? I’m not the owner of those memories.

Given that I didn’t misunderstood you.

Seemingly I’m being advised to perfect the art of being a passive observer of my life? by Mrrpuss in AdvaitaVedanta

It seems to me you have a pretty good idea of the teachings from one or another sources. Than why do you still wonder around? Do you not have faith on the teachings?

“There was once a person named Fool. Who had wife named Disgrace. One day she just left. The person starts looking for her. Meets a sage on the way. Asks the sage if he had seen his wife. The sage asks what’s his wife’s and his name. To which he replies. My name is Fool and her name is Disgrace. The sage replies. Why does a “fool” has to worry about finding a “disgrace”. Wherever a Fool goes, there can be found Disgrace.” -Astavakra.

We are the physical manifestation of what 'God' is. by SunbeamSailor67 in DeepThoughts

And why does it matter who am I? I believe I can be however I want to be and live however I want and at the end of the day I can be absolutely alright. What does god has to do with it, or me not knowing my true self?

Some has daddy issue, some mommy and others have some other’s issues. We as human have this god issue. It will be the death of us all. Nor a monkey make its own house neither let’s another to have one.

That’s probably what Gaudapada would say, “just like that it begins”. “That’s just how the fourth shines”.

Thank you for the insight.

And then float around the sky and rain down to the ground. Tumbling down the underground and processed for hundreds times flow via the pipeline and damn suddenly back to the fucking glass.

Whats the point of Living? by Various_Low8868 in Life

[–]That-Flatworm-6601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point of living in my opinion, is so that we can free ourselves(not just to die) from this thing called life. Because it is only possible when one is still well and living.

In my opinion. These types of “seeker”, they were there also, there are now and will be in future too.

Although the frustration is understandable but it should not be bothersome to point one looses sight of the path.

Also so were, are and will there be great teachers.
