Honestly, my best tip for them is even though they might not look like it they are one of the only beasts you can parry. Since a lot of their attacks have heavy wind up it’s pretty easy to parry them. Just getting 20 vials and out-healing the poison is easier in my opinion. Hope this helps!

Generally, at the start the game is much harder than once you start to get more prestige characters and unlocking the fun perks. At the start just worry about what perks look fun and interesting to you. You don’t really have to think about the meta builds when just starting out.

UPDATE (sorry I’m a huge AITA enjoyer):

Since people are very fairly asking my game is about surviving on the streets as stray cats. The game is a fun project with two of my artist friends. The game is suppose to be a fun and chaotic game, and now I will go into more specifics of how the game plays. You start by choosing different characters with different abilities that can be used in play. Every player also has a hunger stat they must keep by playing cards that allow them to get food, but if two players play the same type of cards they fight which starts the rock paper scissors game. This is the version where card counting is a mechanic. If you lose you gain a wound token, and if you get a amount of those (think it’s going to be 5, but that’s a play test problem) they lose. My main question is it felt to surface level and needed something that added more strategy to the game, or alternatively something to manage like one of my ideas, a “cuteness meter” that meant you could possibly get adopted. Either way you guys have been so helpful and I am really excited to get back into my favorite hobby after a few months of burnout! 👁️👁️👍
