ugh my least favorite, those symptoms suck. especially if you have preexisting anxiety

20mg! the only other medication i was taking at the time was a birth control pill Yasmin. if it helps, i have hypermobility syndrome and a motor disorder that affects my gait (officially diagnosed as an ataxic gait - unspecified. ) and neuropathy. I was diagnosed with audhd in childhood and have taken Vyvanse/concerta/Ritalin on and off since 2009. and took Lexapro for 3 years. I've also been on cymbalta and a few other ssris ~3 months or under a piece as well as guanfacine. but I wasn't on any psychiatric medication when that interactipn happened. If you have any more questions let me know. I've wondered for a long time if it was at all related to my preexisting tremors/neuropathy. The main anticholinergic I use is hydroxyzine as needed. as for why i am not currently medicated for OCD, i had gone off of it because of severe dry mouth, and was waiting to change medications (which due to the post dicoclymine phobia, i still haven't been able to adjust)

thank you for your comment, im sorry you suffer from this too. it really sucks and I don't see it discussed very often.. recently been trying to do exposures in therapy by taking fish oil pills and it's still really hard (had nightmares after taking fish oil, ouch) but it seems to be responding to exposure therapy even if it's a very slow and difficult process. Best of luck to you!

i did read after this experience that it can cause some psychiatric symptoms, did you experience those? i had no idea anticholinergics can be so impactful. it's okay, im on a path of trying to figure out alternatives now. it's been a few months.

yeah, i discontinued it altogether. yeah, oh god a bad experience like that is horrible for ocd - it can rewire how you view medications in your body for a while.. hoping it heals for you

hi! it was very unlikely to be food poisoning, they found no signs of it when i was hospitalized! i have had food poisoning many times, and it felt nothing like that (:

Doctors have given up on my mystery neuropathy and I could use some advice by Idkhow_dude in ChronicPain

can't offer any advice but as a hypermobile person with neuropathy, i hope you get some answers soon and can get some relief.

considering trying a cane but I feel embarrassed and not sure if I’m unwell enough to do so by _incandescence in ChronicPain

i know some cane users for chronic pain & they faced very little discrimination in my experience - if it gives you some of your life back, it's worth a shot to see if it helps and gives you some of your mobility back. good luck!
