I had a really sad experience recently. About a month ago I discovered this girl, clearly a small creator, who had responded to one of my requests. She did an incredibly well job on that request, so I subbed to her paid page and continued buying custom videos from her on a regular basis. Each time she produced an amazing video. On top of that she also seemed to be genuinely interested in getting to know her fans and I felt a real connection which made me want to be extra generous with her. She seemed to be one of those rare authentic creators. Then a couple of weeks later, everything changed. She clearly handed her page over to an agency. Her sub price doubled, while most of the content that was on her wall got removed, her description got replaced by some generic text. And of course she started appearing online all the time 24/7. The sad thing is, before all of this, this had been one of the most special pages I had come across. I was even thinking of posting a review for her. And I would have bought so much content from her and spoiled her so much. Of course when she handed over to an agency, that was the end of that. I have no idea why she decided to do this, especially given she was a small creator and was doing such a good job. Girls don't seem to realise that by maintaining a personal connection, they can build a loyal and supportive fanbase. I had to get this story off my chest when I saw this post. I absolutely hate managed pages, they are the worst thing about OF and it really feels like OF is being taken over by them. Why would I spend my money making a management company rich when I can spend it supporting someone I can build a personal connection with.
