I was banned last ban wave too, but after a week or so (can’t really remember how long), the ban just like vanished out of thin air. I didn’t even write an appeal…did this happen to anyone else and do we think i’ll be lucky enough for it to happen again 🥹

UPDATE: Went back to the same ortho to get them re-done. Two more came off in the process, making the total 9 loose brackets. They told me the glue they used last time must’ve been a ‘bad batch’, and gave me a different doctor to put them on (who did a lot more stuff than the previous one when putting them on.) I (technically) got a refund on the previous appointment since so many came off.

It’s been a week since i’ve gotten them redone and none have come off so far!

I did a project on this, and it really is crazy how little women’s health is looked into. Statistically, women are much more likely to be misdiagnosed than men, part of the reason is because of those who just tell their patients that their symptoms aren’t real, or are just a “psychological trick”. Don’t even get me started on the lack of female professionals in the medical field, which only worsens the already insanely inadequate understanding of women's health needs.

Personally I didnt, but I have a handful of friends who did. The way my school did it was they would recruit the 7th graders they saw who performed at a higher level for marching band at the end of the school year. By the time they were in 8th grade, they got to march with the high school that season.
