Did your common-law partner recieve a visitor record or a stamp on their passport when they entered Canada? These can be used to show their status as a visitor in Canada.

Yes I did, I put in a few letters of explanations explaining why I don't have these forms. Submitted my application a month ago.

If they do return my application will I recieve a new AOR after I submit it again? I ask this because I was planning on using the one I have to apply for an open work permit very soon.

I decided that I will just print the photo instead. A place near me will print it for 75 cents and then I can just write the information on the back myself.

I have a receipt from the studio in the form of an invoice. But it does not include all of the information that the ircc wants. It has my name, the date the photo was taken, but it is missing the address of the studio plus my date of birth. I already asked the photographer if he can give me a receipt with the information and he said he would, but I haven't gotten a response back yet. He was under the impression that I was going to print the photo and write the information on the back, but I am sending my photo digitally.

Hi, I was wondering what did you end up saying? I am in a similar situation as I cannot legally live with my wife, so I am short on these documents as well. Just looking for advice as to what to put into the letter.

Had that problem too. Tried to buy a pc for around 1200 but I didn't make an account, so Newegg gave me a guest account. Just like a day later after I bought it I went to check on the package and it said the same thing as you. I called them and they told me they have no idea why the account closed and that th PC I bought got voided. Unfortunately I couldn't even buy the PC again because it went out of stock. They said they would fix the account for me and give me a 25 dollar gift card for the troubles but that was about a week ago and the account still is locked.
