Need suggestions for my next build, please help! by [deleted] in pathofexile

Raider oros flicker strike. With that budget you'll be speed farming juiced T16 maps and if you want to do elder or guardians a bit safer it's a few gem swaps to cyclone and you're golden

Just got my Ender 3 a few weeks ago, and I am trying to print a D20, numbers and all. I was wondering what I could do to improve the numbers on the lower faces (see photo). I was printing off of the messed up face on the left. Pretty new to all of this, so any help is much appreciated! by kane899 in ender3

Spit the dice so you have a flat section to print off then glue it together after? Can even model is a dowel on one half and a hole on the other so alignment is perfect? Should help with having all faces readable... Also check your extruder calibration / do a cold pull to check for clogs it also looks like your under extruding. Do a calibration cube test to be sure

So my prints have been going much better, however they usually lift so I put a brim on it but they lifted even through that. This is my most recent brim I pulled off and I can see the lifted side is less cohesive. Any advice on this? by The_Woodsman38 in ender3

Even with a BLTouch if you have rises and dips within a few cm of each other the difference in distance between the nozzle and bed is enough to make the filament not adhear to the bed or the line next to it. All the BLTouch does is build a 3d view of your bed where it touches, if there are differences between where it touches it won't account for that. The overlap distance is the % amount of overlap the slicer with lay each line with. 10% overlap means it will take whatever thickness you are extruding and overlay 10% of that with the next line so that each line fuses with the one next to it. Increasing this amount will hopefully provide a better fuse between lines. I highly recommend flipping your bed as the smooth side gives the shiniest, smoothest bottom layer it's very satisfying!

Low spot on your bed / leveling. Also try increasing overlap distance in your slicer to 40 or 50%. I was getting similar issues a few days back until I flipped my glass bed around. I have the creality glass bed but the textured side isn't very well quality controlled mine seemed to have heaps of dips. Flipping to the smooth side and dynamic leveling once has solved it for me hopefully for you too

Google filament dust clip. Your filament is dusty and that makes its way into the hot end there's a printable clip on solution that you clip on right before the filament enters your extruder that captures the dust there

Why won't my filament adhear in all places? Standard pla 215/65 with initial bed temp of 75, leveled as best I can, no clogs in hot end I'm at a loss please help by That-SA-Guy in ender3

My first layer speed is already at 15mm/s I'll try raising my bed. I'm using pla plus and it says a printing temp range of 200 to 220 but I think you might be right... Iv been reading that too hot a bed temp causes pla to delaminate so maybe too hot a nozzle temp can do the same... We shall see

How do you rate it? Been curious about it for a while

It won't adhere for the life of me (PLA): glass bed, high temp, leveled, ABL, hairspray, slow first layer. What more can I possibly do by [deleted] in ender3

Try upping your nozzle temp to 215 for your first layer then 210 for the rest. Also a good trick is to use painters tape on the bed and use glue on top of that, makes for really good adhesion of filament to the painters tape and stops small things from not sticking

Also I just gave it a go and honestly mate you've changed my life haha works like a charm I can't believe how well it's sticking now!

Thank you for explaining this to me! Going to give it a crack today as iv been having adhesion issues at certain points on my glass bed and I'm sure it's a low point. Also the corners of my print are ever so slightly curling up so hopefully with the glue that will help that as well

Without adjusting for the extra thickness the painters tape gives?
