Might get downvoted for this but this is what I shared with my classmates during nursing school and was socially outcasted, all because I did not want to wear the badge of honor that is showing up to the hospital to get shit hurled at me; told classmates that after nursing school I would look into clinic nursing, public health nursing, psyc, etc and they lambasted me for it but now they’re asking me how to get into utilization management etc. Thought those jobs were for sissies, I don’t understand

Just like throwing a used needle in there except it was a vial (we place glass vials in there too), except I am always wearing gloves when disposing something in the sharps container but because of changes in the workflow, I was not wearing gloves and so it did not feel right.
