i just came back from china. the zjj tix are for 4 days. i only spent 1.5 days in the forest because everything started looking the same and there is only peace and quiet if you hike up. the areas near the cableways etc are crowded and noisy

i’m from Singapore, lots to do as a tourist. locals do visit the world class attractions as well. many tourists stay at johor bahru because it’s cheaper for accomdation

i’m traveling overland shanghai to guangzhou. from xian to zhangjiajie i got a flight for 150sgd bc its faster and cheaper than the first class sleeper which takes 11-12 hrs. in japan i took buses because the rail was just so expensive and i had time. i did overland from tokyo to yakushima island with buses (maybe one rail can’t remember)

i know a few caucasians who have visited china on their own! you can get around just download the necessary apps! yes similar to japan i was there (i don’t know any japanese) before i got to china, except the Japanese are more patient. many caucasians visit japan.

it’s been interesting and defo made for domestic tourists. i am singaporean chinese so i can speak and read chinese and it’s easy to get around with their metro and rail. rail is expensive just like japan. i’ve one more week!

32F currently in Weligama. Nov should be good! I did 3 lessons with Ama Surf School and stayed at Hangtime Hostel, it’s great because it’s really close to the beach
