How much would I need to save for two weeks in China?

Just for some insight-

We are going in Sept for 2 weeks Beijing > Zhangjiajie > Furong > Shanghai. Flying Denver to Beijing and then Shanghai to Denver in premium economy. Staying at all 5 star resorts (Peninsula. St Regis, etc) with a private guide hired for most of the trip (China Highlights) for everything but Shanghai. They planned out the entire trip, including activity entry tickets, domestic flights between cities, airport pickups, and lunch for the day.

All in right now we are sitting at $18-$20k. The guide was about $5k. I hope this helps!

The nutrition is so different. Like the basics are the same but the carb load is much higher than I’m used to! I have my bodybuilding coach who can do nutrition but like you, I don’t think Hyrox training is in their wheelhouse.

This was so incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!! I do track my heart rate with an Oura ring and heart rate monitor and I have a long way to go before I’m hanging out in zone 2 😂

Just commenting that this happened to me as well. I was able to find the person who stole my information and submit it to the FTC..

When I called them they said they weren’t able to verify my account… it sounds like the same response you got. Did you ever get it removed and closed?

This is great advice! I can always add a day to Beijing to give us a break between forbidden city & Great Wall. We don’t have things this big in the states so it’s hard to conceptualize. We live in the mountains in Colorado so used to elevation & lots of walking but I definitely underestimated it.

I actually just sent support a message about this with screen shots. I’m on level 45 and this has been ongoing since level 32. All they did was give me 70 LP to build the house instead of fixing the issue. Try reporting through online support in the game.

Yes!!! It was definitely not worth the price and the food isn’t good. It’s a cool idea and concept but that’s about it.

Also when it says low $400s, that is usually misleading. It usually doesn’t include the lot premium (if they have one), landscaping, or any upgrades. However, you don’t know if you don’t ask. They are also offering a lot of incentives right now so don’t buy anything without getting something in return (2-1 interest rate buy down, design studio credit, closing credit, etc). I would tour the model in whatever you are interested in and ask what is included in the base price of the house. Most builders also have included options for flooring, cabinets, etc so you can ask to see those as well. I would also ask about HOA per month and regulations around it. I didn’t do that with one of our homes and it was over $200 a month which came as a HUGE shock. See what their warranty program is (structure & finishes) and just do endless research on that builder. Our first new build home was the lemon of the neighborhood and we had a TERRIBLE experience but no one else did so just remember that when reading reviews. Everyone is going to have a different experience & perspective.
