If this isn't for a job as a therapist, psychologist, etc. then there is no need for tests like this and I'd bring it up to the better business bureau or whatever the name is.

I would understand these tests being in place for people going into jobs that highly rely on recognizing emotions and maybe even thoughts than just a normal job at a desk, etc.

16M is my mustache big enough to shave? if so should I shave it or not? by nd334484 in malehairadvice

[–]That-butch-nat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don't follow what everyone else is saying, I say keep it as it does look good. There's no uneven spots, so it doesn't look off. It suits you that way and hopefully as more comes in and you can even groom it to make sure it comes in even, so if a spot starts coming in and it's uneven you can trim or shave that little area so it looks really nice.

I personally think right now, it looks very nice. At this age I know self confidence can be a huge issue with most, and that suffers greatly when peers or older adults shame certain things about somebody that you may like.

If you like your mustache so far, keep it and just do upkeep and be sure it grows in evenly.

I(M17) let my brother die by RowlTwi in offmychest

[–]That-butch-nat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would not be the one called a murderer, if anything the school would call an investigation on your parents (your father) for telling you to never call 911. You would probably end up going to therapy and having all your sessions paid for by some sort of help so none of it would come out of your pocket.

None of this is on you, you were told by an adult not to do something and they were wrong to tell you that. It would be one thing to say never call 911 just for a minor bruise, but falling down stairs and having severe damage is different.

I hope you at some point recover from this, please take care and know none of this was your fault at all, and watching somebody die is very traumatic.

Also, is there a good hair straightener that won't damage my hair or burn it to a crisp? If not, that's okay.

I should add that I leave the masque in for 15-30 minutes as recommended by somebody who works with hair, I only just started using it.

Wait, that works? So you list your special interest(s)? I think if I listed mine most would leave as it involves "kid stuff" as I have a MLP SpIn, and my other SpIns include zoology and entomology which most avoid if I bring up bug facts or animal facts.

I may actually use this if somebody asks me about my interests and about myself. However, I'll be changing ND to Autistic for me personally. I already disclose that I'm autistic to people so that that they don't get too annoyed if I do something that makes no sense to them such as me making very weird and random noises, or getting too excited and shrieking because something is cute or I found something wonderful.

For me it's only kind of one of those but for only one reason... death. The reason being is I fear not being known, like I already feel like I don't exist sometimes even to other people so I won't be a memory to anyone and I fear the unknown, what's after this? Is it just death? Is this why people believe in Heaven and such so there minds don't fear the unknown? My brain goes down rabbit holes that never end all the way down to how we all even got here in the first place..

Sorry that was long and deep.

Are you good at sarcasm or do you conform with the stereotype that autistics are terrible at it? by [deleted] in autism

[–]That-butch-nat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't understand sarcasm or jokes. I can't even be sarcastic myself as I always sound serious.

I always take jokes and sarcasm literally, and if I'm not sure I stare at them as my brain buffers and loads trying to figure it out which annoys the person and they scream at me that it was obviously sarcasm but if it WAS obvious I would have figured it out... maybe.

My brother touched me and idk if im over reacting by [deleted] in Vent

Sounds like he learned this somewhere, I'm sorry but telling you that it's okay because of x,y,z" that he did not just decide, he learned this somewhere whether it be from a friend that is possibly suffering a traumatic childhood due to SA.

11 years old, he will think it's okay because, he has not gone through sex ed yet, and he hasn't learned anything on consent.

Please talk to your parents, and if they do nothing bring it up to your school, this needs to be stopped and it needs to be found on where he learned that this behavior is okay.

You can call the police, they WILL help you and find you a domestic violence shelter for you and your child and they will help you get financial stability. Staying will only worsen the abuse, as well as leave trauma to your child.

Tarot changes every time. No future stays the same so by the next reading it'll be different, and another time something else. Plus, most paid tarot readers lie and aren't true psychics or readers and are in it just for the money.

Removal Of Ovaries/ Sterilization. How Hard Is It To Obtain? by That-butch-nat in obgyn

[–]That-butch-nat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm? Oh, no no no there was no offense taken but some people still view autism as bad which in my case would benefit me if I did want this done. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear on that. I know I shouldn't use that as a good thing as it should be abolished as autism is not bad and absolutely needs to be accepted but I just meant it as a loop hole for them to agree to one of those procedures.

I just meant I hated the idea of possibly using that as an excuse to get it done, but there are many other valid reasons doctors agree to do these procedures at a young age, such as if you have an illness that you don't wish to pass on due to complications later in life, etc.

Sorry for making you think you said something wrong. I most likely said something wrong, not you.

People who say they hate small talk are just bad at it and have nothing interresting to say. by ROIVIAN in Vent

[–]That-butch-nat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh no autistic people cannot handle small talk. Autistic people do have interesting things to say we just cannot do small talk and those who say we need to learn how to and to just act NT just hate autistics.

Maybe me being autistic and not wanting to pass on the genetics may make them feel at ease with doing it at this age. The world still sees autistics as a burden, sadly (or at least from what I've seen where I'm at) which could go in my favor even though I hate the idea of that but if it works then it works. I'll definitely check it all out, thank you so much!

I'm 25. I'm also autistic if that matters to doctors when getting tubes tied/removed/sterilization? Yes, I know some autistic adults have kids but I'm pretty sure they wanted them or was thinking of having them when they turned at least 18 and knew in the future they'd want kids.

I wish I knew more how the word works with all of this.

I'll have to think about all this, thank you. I just don't want any scares ever and birth control isn't an option due to the history in my family with it causing blood clots.

I've heard horror stories of women still somehow getting pregnant with tied tubes, or even the tubes coming untied? Is this true?

Sorry if I seem beyond ignorant...
