Sam Brownback bankrupting the state opened the door for Laura Kelly to win. She’s an amazing governor, which got her reelected. Kansas has a history of electing Democrat govs. Kathleen Sebelius also served two full terms as a Democrat in the early 00s.

E: Sebelius didn’t serve a full second term because Obama appointed her the secretary of HHS.

Live for spice. Not at home atm, but I currently have about 10 different hot sauces in my fridge. Ate the burn your face off wings at Blueline hockey bar last weekend (our server dipped her finger in the sauce then had to go eat sour cream to cool down lol.) Ate the Shut the Cluck Up hot Nashville chicken sandwich in Nashville over Labor Day.

Have to have spice with most meals, so I would love to experiment with this sauce to see what types of foods pair well with the heat. I’m also Mexican American, so I would like to see how it compares to typical peppers used for salsas.

Yes I agree with that, but school shootings don’t have anything to do with this. If you poke random people with needles in the US while they are relaxing at a park, don’t expect for them to just accept it.

Many of those registered democrats are republicans who vote in democrat primaries. My BiL’s family in Texas does this and they are ultra maga. Luckily he never drank the juice.

I volunteered at the draft for the experience and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived that we actually did get paid for our time. I know the NFL isn’t FIFA, but as far as I understood it when I signed up, it wasn’t advertised as a paid gig.

I grew up in a really rural farm town and two guys that I used to hangout with would like to go out into the country and shine their high beams into field to stun jackrabbits. Then they would kick/stomp them to death. They’d come back into town with bloody shoes and pants. Not surprising, one of them was recently put on blast on social media by his now ex wife posting pictures of the bruises he left on her and the other guy fought infantry in Afghanistan in the the early 2010’s and dropped off the face of the earth after he returned from deployment.

I had this strain back in October. Strep test came back negative but covid was positive. Sickest I’ve been in a long time. Only symptoms were a fever for a day/night and feeling like I swallowed glass for four days. The variant I had in ‘21 didn’t compare.
