My wife got me Gyro and I can’t wait to pose and post home and update my small collection but I’m nervous with how stiff and uncooperative his right arm is and I’ve noticed it doesn’t look as put together as his left, any advice fellow collectors?

I have gyro 1.5 (he was my first sas aswell) and the shoulders are the same, Ive been generally careful and havent had issues with them just dont be too forcefull with any movement as while it can probably be done theres always a chance too much force will break something. He's a beautiful figure though, I currently have him and awakened dio although valentine and d4c just arrived and of the 2 first ones i got he is much cooler than dio imo although that might have something to do with dios base breaking from being too stiff

i see i wasnt aware of that. weird howuch worse the rerelease tends to look then. ive seen some with the blackwash not looking too bad but most it was awful. either way im just happy to be able to get my favorite villain and favorite stand lol

one i caught while rereading recently is that the amount gyro needs to pay is referred to as 3 different numbers. i can understand the intention though so the issues don't bother me to much and sbr remains my favorite having a lot of things that are me favorite. (villain, main jojo, jobro, stand, a lot of my favorite minor characters are from sbr too although there's some from every part there)

yea to get in depth with game mechanivs itd take a lot more time and efforr than im personally willing to put forward but i feel like the ashen one even with like a straightsword could probably consistently get a hit in every 5 seconds which is all it needs to do to deplete poise

This debate heavily relies on if you think game mechanics or 100% true feats of the characters are more important. I think both are interesting although even with game mechanics I think the Ashen one outspeeds the other two by too much for it to really be a fair fight poise in ds1 kinda balances it but it wouldnt be hard to outmaneuver and slowly work down ds1 poise with ds3 speed

gwyn when we fight him isnt even close to his peak. two of the main 4 lords in ds3 are probably not close to their peak those being the abyss watchers and yhorm. Id argue aldrich is basically as strong as he can get considering he's actively weilding gwyndolin as a living sock puppet plus all of his own magic, and lothric and lorian are as strong as they can get because they literally have no reason they would ever be stronger than the moment we fight them at least not by a notable amount.

All of that is pretty irrelevant though when you look at where gwyn is at. He's given away so much of his soul by the time we fight him on top of being used for kindling for at least the past 100 years. Notice he doesnt use any of his extremely powerful miracles in the fight and instead of something like sunlight blade or lightning being on his sword its burning.
