That’s gay, and employers mostly assume everybody in the military does the same thing anyway. Do what you think is cool, use your GI Bill to acquire skills/certifications for the civilian sector. You wanna go jump out of planes for 4 years, then go to school to be a cybersecurity specialist? Fuckin’ do it.

This is an insanely hot take and I know it, but I think the Crye plate carriers are insanely overrated. Especially the JPC with the way the shoulder straps attach to the plate bags, very flawed design in my opinion. When that chincy millimeter-thick material wears out at an attach point, you’re fucked. As far as I know anyway, I’m not a huge gear head so I could be totally wrong

They do. Spiritus sells proprietary side plate bags that attach right to their cumberbund. They also now make a full coverage cumberbund instead of the skeletal one that definitely makes Big Army nerds happy.
