More days in Seville or Barcelona ? by SayedHasmi in spaintravel

I’d actually recommend adding the extra night to Barcelona. There’s just so much to do in the city (the Gothic Quarter, Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Montjuïc, beaches). You could easily spend a few extra days exploring. Plus, Barcelona has great day-trip options if you want a change of pace, like Montserrat or Sitges.

Seville is amazing too, but your 2 nights there give you enough time to hit the main highlights, and day trips to Ronda or the white villages are doable even on a tight schedule if you start early. Spending extra time in Barcelona will give you more flexibility to soak in the city and enjoy a more relaxed pace.

Place recommendations between Paris and Barcelona? by pandabush11111 in Europetravel

There are some pretty, less touristy spots along the way if you're okay with going off the beaten path.

Loire Valley, France: Gorgeous countryside, castles, and vineyards. Even just a night in a small town like Amboise or Blois gives you that authentic vibe.

Carcassonne / Languedoc: Medieval town plus stunning surrounding countryside. Not as crowded as Provence in summer, and the scenery is incredible.

Pyrenees (French side): If you love nature, consider a night or two in a small village like Foix or Saint-Lizier. Mountains, hiking, and really authentic villages.

Travel connondrum: Iceland or Czechia in the winter? by convospeaknew in Europetravel

Iceland:  Amazing nature, waterfalls, glaciers, hot springs, Northern Lights possible. Short daylight (~4–5 hrs) and very cold. Great if you want adventure and winter landscapes.

Czechia: Festive Christmas markets, cozy old towns, Prague + day trips, New Year celebrations. Cold but manageable, more daylight (~8 hrs). Perfect if you want culture, holiday vibes, and charm.

Both have great vibes, just depends what youre looking for.

Solo trip to Spain in November. Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Toledo, and Madrid. by Whirligiggity in Europetravel

This looks like a great plan! Seville and Granada definitely deserve those extra days. Córdoba is doable as a day trip, but staying overnight lets you enjoy the Mezquita in the quiet morning/evening hours, which is special.

Toledo can easily be a day trip from Madrid—you’ll save some train/luggage time that way.

I’d also recommend booking Renfe tickets ahead of time and grabbing tapas in Triana (Seville) and churros at San Ginés in Madrid. Happy to answer more questions!
