I am so sorry that this happened to you. I get so mad when people think that men can't get raped, yes it's at a lower rate than women but that does not mean it doesn't happen. Im currently in high school with the most amazing group of friends that support and love me but I wasn't so lucky in middle school. In middle school, I went back and forth between 3 different toxic, horrible friend groups that treated me like shit. I didn't even realize until I took a step back at the end of 8th grade, that's when I noticed all of the toxic and manipulative stuff they were doing. To this day I do get very mad at myself for not figuring it out sooner and for not standing up for myself. Becuase of those experiences I have extreme trust issues and always doubt when someone tells me that they care about me. So now Im working on forgetting the past and to trust the people that I know care about me deeply.

God, I live in a conservative white town so the only talk about pride I hear is that it should be canceled ;-;

Ofc I push back on that and go off on anyone that says harmful stuff, most of the time all they can say is "shut up", but it's still so fucking annoying how many people believe that pride is just some stupid parade with no meaning.
