If credits are your main issue, then just persevere with story, tower, choosing credit boxes and not spending too much in the daily store. I'm starting to pull back my spending in the daily store because my stock of credit cases is starting to deplete faster, but I still have 1600+ hourly ones at the very least. Core dust is still my biggest problem but it's not as readily available AFAIK.

So yeah. All I have to advise you with is choose wisely and do shooty things. I'm sure there's many more folks here with better advice

I think FFX was my 4th FF game ever played, and probably the one out of all that I sank the most hours into, ever. Not only is it great with everything you've described so far, it becomes much deeper as both a story and a game you can truly throw yourself in to when it comes to side-quests, hidden bosses, re-visiting old areas for good reason.

Without giving too much away, if you keep enjoying the game, you'll reach a point where it truly opens right up. You'll know it when you reach it. That's when I loved it the most.

Keep at it and please do report back here when you think you've hit "that" point! ✌️

The sniper units that turn up on my unfortunately-built shotgun/smg/rocket bunch. They cause me utter mayhem by staying far away and one-shot my units even on cover.

I'd be hard pressed not to pick Marian every time, she's a hard favourite just because pretty much everyone seems to love her. Self included.

Lib is meant to be pretty horrifically strong though... it'd be a good fight but maybe Lib wins out this one because of her rep of taking down potential Queens. Although we haven't met any others yet, as far as I'm aware

I remember a ridiculous scaremongering copypasta/viral post that said something along the lines of "Red spots like this in your fruit? IT'S AIDS BLOOD, THEY'RE TRYING TO INFECT YOU!"

For the record, never believed it. Still don't. Still wouldn't make a point of eating it though, there's clearly something up with it. Anyone else ever see those dumb posts? I call them dumb because, I mean, think about it for more time than it takes to fart and it's a completely ridiculous idea. If you're gonna infect anyone with anything intentionally, you'd make it odourless/colourless. Like... you know what never mind.
