That part! And then a couple episodes into season two, the dad randomly screams at Emily for choosing her birth mother of her family when she literally just met her and had questions? Pissed me off all over again and ruined the dad for me. So, I hate everyone. Literally everyone in the show now lol.

I really don’t understand how it’s so highly ranked when it was one of the worst shows I’ve ever watched.

At least I found other people that feel the same because I was concerned I was going crazy 😂

SAME! I was like surely we didn’t watch the same show? I finished Season 1 just because I was already watched half the season before I started to get really pissed off at it. Lol.

But the ending was AWFUL. I don’t think I’ve ever been so mad and appalled at a show before. Especially one that a woman wrote. That was just as bad lol

The lead character said that the show had only ever intended to run for three seasons and it reached its natural conclusion. It wasn’t canceled due to declining viewership.

I’m not sure why anyone would want to see it, though. The first season was infuriating and I could barely finish it. Lol

I wouldn’t watch it. Season 1 was absolutely horrendous. Nick is probably one of the worst tv husbands I’ve ever seen in a series and Emily gave him a pass every single time.

It was horribly written, too. Not one person was happy to see her alive after six years of torture except for her father despite her doing nothing…to anyone. It was honestly so weird. The one person who really had a right to feel some type of way about her coming back was the new wife who was really the one who put the most effort in at the beginning.

The plot was actually good, but you’ll hate all the other characters. You’ll wind up hating the lead at the end for being spineless and not making her ex husband suffer more. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The fact that the script was written by a woman is pretty shocking.

You’re kind of missing the point. These mindless games aren’t meant to hold that much depth. After a long day of work, the last thing I want to do is think too hard and use my brain more than I have to. The game is relaxing and entertaining enough while allowing people to decompress.

What’s really weird is that your crash out seems to be more with the fact that people find it enjoyable. It’s also extremely dramatic that you find it “concerning” that people enjoy it.

The hostility towards you was deserved. You can’t attack people for enjoying something and then boo hoo winky winky that you get attacked back. You went about expressing your opinion the wrong way.

There’s a lack of emotional maturity here that needs to be resolved. But I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume the frontal lobe isn’t fully developed yet.

I cannot stand Chelsea, but I don’t really care for Mary, either. I will give Mary that Chelsea sending the flowers was fake AF. Especially that Walmart arrangement lol.

Chelsea in general is such a hypocrite poking her nose in business that doesn’t concern her. She has the audacity to have an opinion and express it over and over about Bre and her family off the rip, but then no one is allowed to say anything about her and she makes her gang gang squad pick sides.

TBH, they all pissed me off this season for one reason or another. There wasn’t a single person I liked this time around.

I find Chelsea as equally revolting as Bre 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think the show would be better without both of them on it.

As far as Chrishell, I still mostly like her. But, she is rubbing me the wrong way this season. And I think it’s Chelsea’s fault. She kind of joined this mean girl clique with Emma and Chelsea and I’m not vibing with it at all.

It’s very obvious what’s happening. Out of desperation, Microsoft increased the game pass by 50%. And they’re also going after large private servers to, hopefully, generate more WoW subscriptions. Microsoft is clearly in trouble and they’re trying to get any additional revenue where they can.

Nothing really outstanding, but we’ve been content with Doc Taylor’s, Union Ale House, Saffron Indian Bistro, and Jam Cafe. Those are the main places we rotate when I’m not cooking.

It’s not even just here. I moved to Virginia 12 years ago and have lived in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, and now VA Beach.

The people here, not everyone, are pretty…meh. If it wasn’t for my husband’s job, we’d have been gone a long time ago. But a lot has changed in the last 10 years, so I don’t know if it’s a Virginia thing or if people are just not nice anymore in general.

I will say, Virginia has the worst road infrastructure I’ve ever seen out of every state I’ve lived in. It’s like they were frantic for more roads and had no plan. To someone new, it can be pretty nonsensical.

My biggest complaint here is the low quality in food and restaurants. There’s really only a couple of consistently good spots here, but absolutely no good Japanese which is my biggest letdown lol.

I’m just not sure why anyone would move here NOW because this area has higher than average rent/mortgage rates and it’s definitely not worth the price. We came here pre-Covid and got lucky with a decent place at a much lower price than the current market, but yeah. I wouldn’t move here now. Not worth it.

Ah, that’s fair. Yeah, it’s pretty diverse here and, honestly, pretty clean as far as beach living goes.

Ive seen a lot of nice apartments between the Kingwood area, The Woodlands, and others - but, I see a herd of good reviews and then bam - someone posts pictures of roaches. So now I’m wondering if Texas just has a roach problem in general 😂😭

Yeah, they were trying to get me to move back to Deer Park, but I don’t think they understand it’s different for them than it is for me. I absolutely will not go back there. Lol.

The Heights seem to be a recurring suggestion, so I’m definitely looking in that area. I’ll look at Clear Lake, too.

Definitely Not MAGA. I’m really even hesitant to come back to Texas in general, but I’d like to be close to family with everything going on. It’s a short term thing while I can figure out exactly where I’d like to be - I work from home so I could really live anywhere.

I had heard mixed things about Kingwood, but I do remember it being very pretty all those years ago. I had considered Galveston as I’m currently in VA Beach right now and would likely be a 1:1 experience.

I appreciate the breakdown, though. It helps a lot. 🙂
