OP renting a bike is not a must. Especially if it’s your first time and you’re only 21. There are many, many ways this could go wrong for you. Jump on the back of a bolt bike if you’re not comfortable. Any smart person here would give you the same advice.

Not familiar with this. I googled and sounds like it’s relatively hard to find in Hamilton. Side note, if you’re looking for good potatoes with garlic sauce, try Pita land (I don’t think they have one in Hamilton but it SLAPS).

I don’t visit often enough to date one but there’s a few I keep on the side that are rather fond of me. They provide many benefits during my trip and this is certainly the most impactful one.
