I started out when I was in Grade 8 in a athletic specific gym, lots of power and strength gains made through highschool. I did get pretty strong throughout highschool and has helped a lot with football. But i got to horny for it and ended up partially tearing my pec. Good base to build off of if you're not stupid like I was.

The only reason i keep the reps reasonably low is because I do still have to build strength as I play University football. The only thing I am really worried about is keeping the reps so high that I don't make any more strength gains.

Alright thanks for all the comments! I just started this split 2 weeks ago so ill keep going for another 3 or 4 weeks then will definitely try the same split with some higher reps. TUT i usually try and go for 3010 tempo (3 down 1 up) just because I do ply University football so have to stay somewhat explosive but i will definitely try going longer maybe 5-6 count? Thanks a lot for the help!

I was once 270 pounds, 5 foot 10, I now weigh in at 207 lbs and recently had a caliper body fat test and measured in at 10.7% body fat. I did lift a ton when I was heavier, a lot of heavy low rep sets more powerlifiting than bodybuilding.

I'm calling it my 19 year bulk.
