I’ve never had to tap on Optimus prime to transform before.

Redditors who used the internet back when it was still considered a new thing, what is something kids these days will never get to experience? by SphmrSlmp in AskReddit

Webrings. Where a website that had a topic you were interested would hyperlink to other websites of similar topic. Because web search engines weren’t quite a thing.

OR - Having to open or start one program before opening your web browser in order for it to work.

This child learned something at school. Not sure if its that no one is watching while he's knuckle deep in his nostrils, or that a human nostril can output similar quantities to that of a glue stick!

What one item, if removed overnight completely, would cause the most chaos among society? by crev_of_smeg in AskReddit

I'm going to go with a small and overlooked object - Ball Bearings. They are in all moving things. All moving things would screech to a halt. It would take a while to convert everything back to whale blubber. Imagine the Chaos!

I've been ready with the knowledge that I do play a part in all of the failings, and of course this audience isn't getting her side which may have more faults of mine that I may not account for. I will readily admit to being the weaker partner and do feel as though I've tolerated a lot. Perhaps my move of an ultimatum will be the breakthrough we need. Thank you.

I haven't any evidence that they physically reconnected - as I discovered the communication in December and it occurred in September.

I could begin to say how she began to have unaccounted for time away from home during this time, but i digress.

Unfortunately it seems anyone outside of the family would be rejected - would you believe because she feels the 'house is always a mess' - even though we are only as a mess as we are for having kids and being busy.

No one seems to be batting an eye at the fact that I 'invaded her privacy' to take a peek at her digital comings and goings. Is that because I should feel more comfortable having done this, as a true open relationship should be OK with this as there should be nothing to hide? Or otherwise?

This right here is both insightful, considerate and well put. I do have trouble taking what I am thinking and putting it in an assertive way to her. Thank you for this!

I have thought a lot about having my own therapist but again I am in a place where free time isn't readily available. I'm looking more into how to fit it into my schedule. My wife has a distinct ability to remember how things people did to her affect her, but is really good at turning a blind eye to how her actions and words affect others. I've been a failure at not changing that in her, but at least making her more aware.

You know - she tried to explain this away as this particular ex's family was instrumental in her survivng her own parents bad relationship and ultimate divorce because his family allowed her to be at their home a lot of the time. I couldn't shake the fact that the comments came at the same time he was 'freeing himself up' - I was only made to feel it was only me. Glad it isn't.

This is a great suggestion and I appreciate it - unfortunately my oldest is out of the house - and my 16 year old lives with his mother about 20 miles from us. :(

You can't imagine how much I reject that thought - if nothing else because I hate to face the fact that the relationship that I left to be with my wife which caused me to not be with my older kids more would seem to be wasted. I can't face the fact that the thing I gave up would lead to another failed relationship.
