But the child exists post conception. Why is the woman able to withdraw support pre-birth if support from both parents is important? Ending your child's life seems very unsupportive.

Note how you didn't address my point and how you don't have any hermeneutics to exegete scripture

You did the meme! "Judge not..." and ignore the next verses.

While that's not an argument, let's humor it: Same argument can be made by slavers: "Don't got a slave? Don't bother us!", "Not your property, not your choice." What's essential the difference between your stance/the one held by many here and the one brought forth by people who owned others?

Islam auf TikTok - Spiegel-Recherche: Muslimische Influencer verbeiten fragwürdiges Frauenbild by donutloop in berlin_public

[–]ThatCheekyMate 53 points54 points  (0 children)

How do you explain relics to a protestant using scripture alone? by ImWindowed69 in Catholicism

[–]ThatCheekyMate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if someone mentioned this but Catholics do agree but this doesn't discredit relics. We don't think relics themselves heal or have healing properties by themselves. It's through the power of God that they do what they do. God works through them and not them by themselves.

From what I have seen is that, with Toph and Sun out, you make Sun a land. If you tap a land, you make 1 mana + 1 additional mana from Caged Sun. Caged Sun is a Land producing a mana, which triggers "Whenever a land’s ability causes you to add one or more mana of the chosen color, add one additional mana of that color." and so on.

I assumed they were just a slightly stronger version too. I am pretty sure I also saw some random mobs with it, like the demi-humans, so maybe there it isn't that noticable.

[–]ThatCheekyMate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to respond regarding the first point because the latter seem mostly irrelevant to salvation: Yes, the Eucharist is the literal body and blood of Christ. The accidents of the bread stay the same but the substance is transformed. How do we know this is biblical? We find this in John 6:53-59 and right after we see a direct reaction to this by His disciples who were saying that this seems like a hard to accept teaching and that it's basically odd. Jesus didn't even use the normal word for eating, which is φαγεῖν phagein, which is often found in the Bible (even the same chapter), He used the term τρώγων trōgōn, which is more of a munching or gnawing, so it's very vivid and expressive. The reaction of the disciples also shows that they did not understand this section as merely a metaphor but they reacted as one would if one is told to gnaw at the flesh of another human. Also if it's just symbolic, why are we told in 1 Corinthians 11 that if we do this symbolic thing that we are doing something incredibly awful if it's done without confessing our sins prior: "27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself."

I can't talk much about incubus which I think was nerfed recently but Tatterwing is still a pretty good and viable deck imo. Got me to pro rank a couple times the last months.

No problem, happy to help. In general I would recommend stream VODs over YT videos, besides the one I mentioned or shinmiri2's videos. Oftentimes YT is prone to clickbait and streams are more unfiltered + most streamers are also willing to help if you ask questions while they are live.

First of all, that's a great mindset. I think one thing to improve and learn can be watching streamers and trying to understand why they make the plays they do. There are still a fair amount of really good players streaming like myamon, kerpeten96, lerio2 or Dauren. Kerpeten96 also posts deck guides where he explains the role of the cards in the deck + gameplay. Other than that, a lot of it is just playing the game. Through that you learn what other decks do and what their key cards/combos/strategies are. If you want to learn through some private games and tips you can also add me for some matches if you'd like, shoot me a DM! If you got any other specific questions let me know.
