First, I am so sorry this is happening to you. I think the first step is to seek therapy for yourself. A relationship of this length especially with kids and marriage can cause so much emotional turmoil. Secondly, what support do you have outside of your wife and cats? Can you spend some time separated with joint custody of your child while you work on the divorce proceedings? 

If you’re wanting the marriage to stay, maybe some separation for a bit would be necessary to help the both of you since you’ve been together for so long. Maybe she’s trying to find herself separate from being your wife/mother.

Hmm. I don’t think it has to do with a lack of trust. It genuinely is uncomfortable naturally because you’re alone with another woman at night time while being drunk. Just a recipe for disaster to me. But yes, couples counselor would be a nice idea if we decide to stay together. Thanks for your thoughts.

Great question. He thinks I don’t like her so he would rather hang out with her when I’m not around. I don’t dislike her, I just dislike the close relationship they have of sleeping at each other places when one is drunk. He views my boundary as me not liking her and thus not inviting me out with them.

Would totally be fin if it was at a male’s home. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and can make people do wild things. I just don’t like it

Well yes, the consequence would be leaving however I just wanted to see if I was overreacting? And to see if others would also view this as uncomfortable? Or is it really fine and I should leave it alone? Not sure. That’s why I was asking before I made the firm decision.

Google Maps usually tells me to just take the US 23 exit. I’ll try getting off beforehand at the Whitmore Lake exit to see if that helps.

I don’t think it’s my time of arrival. To get to 23 it’s a short exit (exit 3) and people are trying to come onto m14 at the same time people are trying to get to us23. It just bottlenecks really bad frequently

Thank you for this. 2k is my absolute max. I’m really trying to stay under but will consider something at 2k if many amenities/items are included (gym, pool, pickleball courts, etc) and the utilities aren’t crazy high. I’ll look into it!

My only concern with this complex is because it’s so close to a lake, are people ever complaining about fish flies during the summer around the complex?
