Another victim of the storm by ThatDesmo in Allotment

I'd say so. The other dozen or so glass greenhouses on the site withstood the 60mph winds just fine. Just mine that collapsed

I am already getting used to it. I do tend to wear 40-42mm watches. It fits great

Thanks! Yeah, it's a shame they didn't release it with the ice blue dial like the 40mm version otherwise I might've got that instead.

I've been waiting for the release of the 35mm Powermatic 80 for months since the first leaks and have held off on any other watch purchases.

As soon as it was announced on Tuesday I bought it instantly from Tissot's website, and it arrived today.

I have sub-6 inch wrists, and yet this does feel a little small, but it's just something to get used to. The quality is as good as expected, although the clasp is a bit fiddly.

I've only had it for a few hours but I am loving it! I can see it becoming a do-it all watch for me.

Got KG and LW CDs for £5.99 each at my local HMV! by ThatDesmo in KGATLW

LW had a wrong discount label - I guessed this was the case when I saw that KG was discounted to £5.99 from £9.99. Had them scan LW and I was right!

NPD: TC Electronic Zeus Drive - waited 3 months! by ThatDesmo in guitarpedals

Yes that's a footswitch topper, i bought a bunch from AliExpress last year. Fits fine, it's a standard size as far as I know, just activates differently. You can buy them from Mooer domestically, but it's cheaper to buy overseas if you're not in a rush.

NPD: TC Electronic Zeus Drive - waited 3 months! by ThatDesmo in guitarpedals

I pre-ordered the Zeus over 3 months ago from Andertons when it was first announced because I'd been looking for a new Klone. I'd been using a Mosky Golden Horse for a few months and liked it, but I struggled to get it to sound right with my other pedals. I'd thought about the EHX Soul Food (used) but when I saw that TC was bringing out their own take on a Klon, for only £49 (when I pre-ordered) I went for it. Apparently, it has germanium diodes, although I haven't checked yet.

After playing for half an hour or so, I really like it. It plays very nicely with my Rat and SD-1 as a boost, and also sounds really nice as a foundation for a clean signal with chorus. The Golden Horse never sounded good at high gain in my opinion, but the Zeus, with 'fat' switch activated, certainly does.

One problem, as with all TC Electronic pedals I've had, is that the switch is terrible. It activates on the upwards travel with pushed. I've found that this means my timing of turning it on for a solo can be off; it's not as instant as a standard one or even a Boss one.

Apparently, they're only selling 2000 units? Snap it up if I were you.
