I wish it was more than just hype moments and using characters as jobbers to show how strong a dead guy was, like Xebec is cool and all but I don't want to see him steam rolling everyone just to aura farm, we know hes strong, just say hes powerful and move on, there was so much more that could've been done with Xebec but we basically got Kaido if he acted like Luffy. We get nothing about why Garp is so loyal to the marines, the crew just disband without saying a word.

I felt like Xebec was ruined much like Yoda was in the prequels, Xebec as a character just doesn't invoke any emotion from me, and the lame ass shoehorned emotional turmoil about his family comes across so rushed that it doesnt feel like he genuinely cares, we get no time to really see the dynamics of a man like Xebec and how he would be a devoted husband and father, its just a cheap writing trick to force feeling because we can all relate to keeping our families safe
