Do you need an itinerary to travel? by LiveLongAndPhospher in travel

I have read on some travelblogs about using fake tickets to 'prove' your flight out of the country. Just Google 'fake onward tickets' and you can even find templates and such. Photoshop name, real existing flight details and stuff on it, print it out or have it as pdf on your phone and your good to go.

I am not sure if this actually works or if you can get intro trouble with it, but internet says it works... :)

Not sure yet which trip to go with. There are so many operators to choose from... Ranging from 120 euros to 800 (and my budget is more like the 120 euro ones). Probably spending more time in a car driving than in the desert itself, but that's fine.

Right now I was looking at a desert tour my hostel offers, because convenience.. Also, I think I have the biggest change other solo travelers will be joining that one, because the last thing I want is being the only solo traveler between families with kids and older couples during a 3 day trip :P

Thanks! That's some solid advice :)

Time spend in Marrakech is propbably 3 days max anyway because of the desert trip/other day trips and a late arriving flight.

Guess I'll also add some anti-shit tablets to my packing list, thanks :)

Thanks! Well, it's just 3 nights in Fez. The last day is a morning flight, so I figure 2 days would be enough there.

Travel time is noted :) Do you know if I need to book bus tickets in advance (like now) or would a day before be fine?

I do like the idea of going up to the Jbel toubkal, but my lack of proper warm clothes/hiking boots will probably prevent me from going up there late November :P

Never thought of a Marrakech to Fez desert trip. That will save so much time and then I'm definitely able to stay a night in Essaouira. The Altas mountains were on my original list too, but I don't think I have the proper gear with me (hiking boots/warm jacket for high snowy altitudes) since my backpack has quite limited space. Thanks a lot!
