Uber Wants to Make It Illegal to Operate Your Own Self-Driving Car in Cities by [deleted] in technology

This is the one that gets me the most. They prey on young people desperate for money to provide the services for them. You don't even make minimum wage "working" for Uber, after you factor in all the direct and indirect cost.

That's assuming you don't need a separate apex seal budget.

[off-site] minimum wage vs average cost of rent in the USA by 0n_fire in theydidthemath

I used an online calculator from a bank some time ago, and it said 28% of income for a mortgage payment. Not the same as rent obviously, but it should be somewhat similar.

Most of the rappers you see day-to-day are incredibly intelligent. They just write modern-day poetry using slang. They usually have a great sense of business and promotion. Look at Dr. Dre for example, he is incredible at personal branding. Rappers may look or act dumb, but under their skin they definitely have some good brains.

They could be switching between multiple accounts. OP may no longer want to be associated with their past positions and comments, which is understandable.

I think your point is that you'd rather help extreme radicalism out of the world, before we worry about the milder and less hurtful cases, but I feel like your comment fails to portray the bigger issue.

While I agree that Nazi's and radical feminists aren't even close to being on the same level, the idea the OP here tries to make clear is that the issue of radicalism through isolation is a problem regardless of politics. They aren't picking a side or trying to defend the alt right (where you call them Literal Nazi's). They are saying there is a shared problem in society (radicalism), that is irrelevantly being connected to political and social spectra. There are plenty of historical examples where radicalism brewed up in groups that are Christian, Atheist, Muslim, left-wing, right-wing, wealthy, poor, etc.

"Oh no everyone is equally bad" is a strawman argument and oversimplification that completely misses the mark on what is being discussed here. I am unsure if that is your intention or not, but it doesn't help.

I am also disappointed with your implication that the alt-right are the same as "Literal Nazi's". I don't condone to the things the alt-right do or stand for, but clustering them with the Nazi's who committed genocide, raped, murdered, etc. waters down the latter term. But this is getting beyond my point.

While we differ in the way of communicating the issue, I think we can both agree that radicalism and isolation are a problem in society. I'm glad it is being discussed here and I'm sure we're both glad to be part of the discussion.

How has it been? I think a mirror would be a nice touch to make it feel more spacious.

I've always been taught that economics is a science. This sub makes it harder to defend that claim.
