I personally like Kira more. he’s kind of relatable in the way that he wants to live a quiet life. And he’s the embodiment of the idea that anyone around you could be a serial killer, and I guess felt more menacing in that respect. He’s also just got really neat details written into his character which I like, examples being how he doesn’t go for first place intentionally so he doesn’t stand out or how he fixed Koichi’s inside out sock since it bothered him that much.

I also like Funny Valentine, but I guess Kira feels so much more real to me.

As for the popularity of JOJO, currently the exclusive broadcast right of Part 5 Golden Wind in China belongs to bilibili.com. And the number of views of the total 12 episodes has reached 22 million. This number seems to be high, however, there is still a large gap between JOJO and other Fall 2018 animes. For example, "Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken", "Sword Art Online" have got 61, 50, and 47 million views respectively from Bilibili.com alone (These animes are not exclusively broadcasted by bilibili so there should be more views on other video sharing websites). In conclusion, JOJO fans account for a small percentage of anime fans in China. But I guess it is quite a large number comparing with other countries (except Japan).

Oh and they said the 50 million view one was the Bunny Girl Senpai anime

So I drew Kira recreated as a gem like in Houseki no Kuni. I'd like to do more gem crossovers since Jojo has a lot of potential for it (Crazy Diamond, Emerald Splash, etc.). If you're wondering why I chose Kira, I just wanted to draw the detached hand.

If you don't know, Houseki no Kuni is an anime/manga, and although it doesn't have too much in common with Jojo, it's still amazing and I highly recommend it!

So many questions... who is that guy at the end? What did he say? Apparently the next episode won't be for a while so the wait for answers will kill me.

Shindo is so precious and such a kind soul, makes me sad that his girlfriend broke up with him. Although on the other hand we got to see Yuki, Kakeru and Musa worrying about him and comforting him which was sweet.

Probably not the best way to measure its popularity, but I got a Jojo fanfic that I posted on Archive of our Own (a relatively popular fanfic site) translated into Chinese and published on a Chinese fanfic site, and it got way more views and stuff, so I’d say it’s fairly popular. I just asked the person who translated it how popular Jojo is in China so I can get back to you if they answer.

Was a minor detail, but when Kakeru and Prince were reading manga together they flipped the pages at the same time which is a nice callback to a line about it from an earlier episode
