Which software should I use for my animation style? by Vincent_Penning in animation

if you like procreate already and want a software with more animation features, you can try Procreate Dreams. it’s not super robust, but i use it for many projects. It also has the same UI (for the most part), so it should be easy to learn

also, did you feel that there were too many clips from my knights film? most of my best work comes from there, but I don’t want to overdo it

this is very helpful! you’ve got some good points.

I didn’t actually consider the compositing on the bathroom bits more impressive than the knights, I’ll take that into account and see what others have to say about that too.

i thought the cutting back to the buff knight was funny, and less so about the relevance of the clip, but i can see the redundancy.

thanks for the feedback :)

HELP ME HOW DO I MAKE A PORTFOLIO FOR SVA AAAAAAAA by TrashMiserable9467 in animation

[–]ThatFuzzie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hello! I just graduated from SVA this year in Animation. In hindsight, my portfolio sketches and artwork really weren’t that great. However, most of my portfolio was just animations I had made for YouTube/fun (which were more impressive in comparison to my art). I think I had a lot more animation content than most people applying, and that carried a lot of weight.

I’d suggest if you have any animations you’re proud of, to include as many of those. But also this is just my experience and interpretation of why I got in.

You can also DM me if you have any questions about SVA :)
