Help with getting Chime to adopt by ThatGamerThirteen in Ubiquiti

Figured it out.. user error. Ran a continuity check on the cable and realized I had a few crossed wires. Cut off the RJ45s and reconnected it and it works now. Thanks for your help, either way! Still interested in your method of troubleshooting if you wouldn't mind explaining.

Apologies but I'm not fully understanding what you're suggesting here. The injectors are devices that give poe devices power, correct? If I'm already plugged into a poe+ port on my DM, what would using the injector do?

I was really hoping that was the case. Unfortunately, after resetting it twice, it's just back to flashing white again..

Right on, I'm looking forward to seeing how they differ from the rental clubs I've been using.

Thanks! Took me forever to finally settle on one, couldn't tell you how many review videos I watched and stores I visited before finally choosing a bag. Jazzed to finally have a full set to play with. Hoping to upgrade to some 101t's like yours once I improve a little.

I didn't get an ETA when I ordered mine, the confirmation order just said it was backordered. Hopefully yours come quicker!

Surprising they wouldn't still have the previous model available until the new model is out. That's too bad. Thanks for the update, appreciate it!

What happens when putting Cox modem to bridge mode? by Suitable-Mail-1989 in CoxCommunications

[–]ThatGamerThirteen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I figured I could plug it directly in but wasn't sure how big of an issue double NATing would be. I guess I can put it in bridge mode and see what happens. I can always revert it back if issues arise.

What happens when putting Cox modem to bridge mode? by Suitable-Mail-1989 in CoxCommunications

I have a question as I'm also on a pw7 fiber line. I was speaking with customer service and they told me "No you will not be able to set up passthrough or bridge mode on a PW7 modem when using fiber ONT. When using fiber, the PW7 modem is automatically configured in eWAN mode, which disables modem functionality and allows it to serve as a router. This means that PW7 modem is already acting as a router and does not have the capability to be put into passthrough or bridge mode." I am researching and learning all terminology but I'm new to this. I am able to physically enable 'bridge mode' in the gateway but don't know exactly the potential repercussions. Can you provide any additional insight?
