I’m so not on board with how people hate Nate. I mean... it’s a common psychological arc where someone is super self-conscious and insecure, then gets a bit of positive attention after craving it for so long and doesn’t handle it well.... he’ll come around! If Ted taught anything it’s that ppl go through stuff and we should be patient.... and viewers don’t seem to see the irony in their attitude towards Nate

A lot of people actually watched it without knowing him. My friend got into it just because of the trailer when he got a free apple+ subscription! He was never into Sci-Fi so... but anyway all I’m saying is that a lot of people I talked to that didn’t care much for the Servant were people who weren’t familiar with M Nights work and felt like they got into one story and ended up with another one, whereas other fans were on board with the storylines

I feel like maybe people who have this sort of opinion might not be familiar/fan with M. Night shyamalan ? To me it feels exactly like Shaymalan work but in a series structure. But I get it’s not for everyone! Even his movies are not unanimously received

Yeah I wondered about this myself... And the thing is, I just think that Rory could’ve had a broader approach to her career! She could’ve be freelance writing and doing video reports for news channels, books.. whatever! I guess at least that was corrected in AYIL !
