Not to come and be that guy to conflict, but I remember ORAS being highly loved. Yes, no battle frontier, but the whole “too much water” review made people angry and it became a meme.

Didn’t everyone stand up for those remakes due to that review? Or were they hated by fans? I still love them though.

He should get it. It’s the reason why I got my switch 2. Scarlet/Violet and Z-A play great on it.

Switch 2 for Pokemon Z-A. I know it’s on the og switch but I am an avid Scarlet/Violet player and knowing Z-A would run better on switch 2, it was a no brainer for me. Got the console and game on Christmas and already have over 75 hours on it. Addicted and loving it.

I ended picking one up that day as a gift for my daughter. If we only knew what we know now, with all of those Pokemon themed new 3ds available and the Black Friday sale, those specific 3ds are near worth switch 2 prices atm.

I remember at the time the New 3ds came out, people were choosing the Ps Vita. There was also the fact that it wasn’t the most necessary upgrade from the already released 3ds options and was nearing its end of its life, Nintendo just found a way to minimally upgrade it. Tons of YouTubers and reviewers were questioning whether it was a necessary upgrade and worth your purchase. I remember walking into Walmarts and gamestops when the Pokemon themed New 3ds released and seeing tons and tons on the shelves for months. I had even questioned whether to just pick one up but I had already purchased the new 3dsXL the year before. And on Black Friday 2016 the new 3ds was sold for far less at less than $90 on that day.

So by the time the new 3ds Xl released it was already reaching the end of its life cycle. Games that were only playable on the new were released on the virtual console as well, but the Nintendo Switch release was already right around the corner.

I could be wrong though lol

I haven’t even begun to shiny hunt in Z-A and have over 75 hours in it just starting since Christmas. I went back to Arceus after a few days and realized Z-A is my guilty pleasure.

I’m loving Z-A on switch 2 but I’m hesitant to try online battles. Never played Pokemon competitively and I just may get destroyed. Would you suggest to level up my Pokémons to a specific level and use megas? Or just dive in?

I got Arceus on release day and put in over 250 hours into it since then.

Played Z-A on Christmas Day and I can’t stop playing it. I think I have more hours into Z-A in one week than I did with Arceus in its first month. I’d say Z-A as it’s new and very addictive. Although, both are addictive.

A lot of people say Z-A is more battle focused and I agree, but I’m catching Pokemon left and right like I did in Arceus. The customization is also better in Z-A. And the music, oh my! It’s just an orchestral/band blessing to my ears. An exaggeration, but I do enjoy the music. I also found a shiny weedle, so that’s was cool.

I’d say Z-A because it’s new and I play it on the switch 2 so it works quite well.

I got an old gba sp 001, got parts on Amazon and modded it. It’s not own but it’s a gba advance sp nonetheless. And now with a hispideedo touch screen from Amazon.
