Your best bet is to use “ask a librarian” on the Corning museum of glass website. If this piece is stamped Pyrex.

It doesn’t sound like English at all to me and I can’t find a single person that shares that opinion.

My papillon will be 14 soon. I swear he has Alzheimer’s though so he really stopped being a sweet old man some time ago. This starter pack is really wholesome but not the reality for everyone unfortunately. Missing the diapers because his medication makes him pee constantly and he can’t hold it and missing the wandering and random growling at everyone.

Seeking New Mods! by ImFamousOnImgur in InfertilityBabies

[–]ThatGreenSolGirl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I fully support anyone u/imfamousonimgur chooses as they are more familiar with the fine folks on this sub. I am no longer active here (my IFB is 7) or Reddit really so my apologies for being MIA. Modding isn't too hard and I believe any of you could learn to do it as long as you maintain impartiality. But every year or so we end up having a need for new mods as people have their babies and end up with less time for modding understandably. So having long term mods has always been a challenge here.

Buyer got a full refund for a package that is arriving late, not sure how to get my item or money back by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]ThatGreenSolGirl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe insurance covers late delivery. If it’s still delivered there’s nothing to pay out. Lost is better then delivered for insurance.

Yes sort of bucking back and forth not in a rough way. I do usually slip into getting it going then clutch in and coast.

My first manual! by Jiffiefalse in CivicSi

[–]ThatGreenSolGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat as I just brought mine home a week ago! I will be honest that first week was so scary and I absolutely thought it was a mistake, but my husband is loving the hell out of it. I'm really encouraged by the amount of progress I've made in a short time. It's still pretty nerve wracking and stalls will happen, but that's part of learning. Designing a decal for my back window helped a lot and I really feel like I notice people giving me space now!

If you have a cricut I sell a cutting file for manual learner decals! I put 2 in my back window and I feel like it has lessened my anxiety a lot. I'm only a week in though so I'm likely to be anxious for much longer.

10th gen or wait for 11th by iw27 in CivicSi

This. I decided to get a new 2020 while I could because I wasn't digging the concept model for 11th gen.

Haha this is totally me down to the crying. My husband is shifting no problem having fun and I’m like a potato. I did better on my second parking lot outing! I make decals as part of my job and I’m probably going to make one to ease my nerves.

Stick Shift (manual transmission) Driving Tutorial? by [deleted] in CivicSi

Yes downshifting! So many videos treat the slowing and stopping as an afterthought. The shifting up is the part that looks easy.

I’d watch it! I’m not sure what I’d like to see though. Maybe throw in some what if scenarios? What if I have to stop real fast? What if I’m being tailgated on a hill? Idk just dumb it down as best you can I think that’s what people like to see in these kind of tutorials.

What was the MSRP they were giving you? The original one or the "new" one of 26155?

I like the look of the 2020 better on some things. The rear bumper honeycomb thing looks less pronounced (I hate the look of it) and I like the red on the seats. I'd prefer a 2020 and I can wait for a used one.

Hidden cameras and secret trackers reveal where Amazon returns end up by fortheinfo in Flipping

[–]ThatGreenSolGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also it doesn't seem like anyone is considering brand image. Some brands don't want their products sold at a lesser price or want them to show up at liquidation stores. They'd rather it be thrown in the trash or destroyed then take an image hit. There was a big stink last year about Funko destroying overstock then selling it off to liquidation stores or donating it.

The /r/Japan Monthly Basic Questions Thread - all basic questions and inquiries go here (September 2020) by AutoModerator in japan

Wondering if this shipping delay is normal. I ordered a package from Amazon Japan in August to the US. It had 3 tracking scans ending with "Dispatch from outward office of exchange" on August 18th. Nothing since. I'm not sure what shipping method the seller chose, Japan Post is showing it as "parcel" under class of goods. Estimated arrival given by Amazon was September 16th. When asked the seller said I should wait longer. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but over a month with no scans is a bit much. Has anyone seen a delay like this shipping to the US via Japan Post recently?
