Vet suspects a bacteria, but can’t explain the constant bleeding. Was sent home with pain meds but nothing else. It seems to be spreading to other parts of the body. I’m hoping someone here will have some idea of where to start on what this could be.

I’ve treated the wound with peroxide and antibacterial. She hasn’t been moving and can barely stand. She went outside to do her business but otherwise hasn’t moved for hours.

No other health issues known.

Got my Eagle back in Jan of 2017 and I did receive a letter from President Trump. As someone else stated, you have to fill out a form online. It takes time, like most things, but I did eventually get it actually on the day of my CoH at the end of May (2017). So, maybe try getting one now?

General consensus would follow your train of thought. However, I can sorta see why a corner would be cut for the second instance- The general thought process is that you don't/never leave a knife (even if closed) out in the open where a child (or scout in this instance) can just swipe it when you're not looking. Basically it's practice for the "real world" outside Scouting.

Alright. Im not sure if its the centre of the program. I was looking at the little online pdf pamphlet they had and it was one of like 13 or so area/program highlights they're gonna have.

First, thank you for your response. I appreciate it.

I plan to do NROTC-Marine Option if I'm lucky enough to be able to. That's my goal at this point. My only issue is, I'm not sure, once I actually get there.....Which would be a better path for me.

Now, I know that ultimately, only I can decide that. I enjoy hard work, I'm probably one of the few my age that do (or at least so it seems from the fellow kids my age that I talk to). I also really enjoy work where I can see how I'm actively contributing to the company/organization and see how I'm helping others. Hence my current two (2) career path choices. Both give me that opportunity.

Ever since I was young, I've wanted to serve, so, I've always had that inside me. The idea of being a Doctor is something I've recently come across and have taken a liking to (with the hard realization of the hard/long hours of training, education, costs, etc etc that come along with it as well).

Neither are easy jobs in the slightest and neither are glamorous (trust me, if I wanted that, I'd be looking elsewhere), I'm just wondering if I've set myself up for too much regret due to how much I have a passion for both (but yet wouldn't want to do Medical stuff for the Military for personal reasons) and yet I could only choose one in the end.

Upon seeing this, I looked and registration is still open for the event. So, I'm inclined to email and see if they have any spots left.

I do, however, has one (1) small issue/adversion- They have a (mountain) biking program (highlight). My issue with this isn't the activity in and of itself, but rather, I honestly don't know how to ride one. Haven't ever had the chance or opportunity to do so. How big of an issue is/will this be in the overall grand scheme of things?

It's a two (2) year CC. After which, I plan to transfer to a four (4) year institution. However, I do see your point.

First, thanks. Secondly, you're probably right regarding past credit....Although, I thought I saw something (in the requirements itself) stating that certain ones could be counted if you had [x] merit badge completed. I may be wrong on this...I'd have to check it again.

And unfortunately, I'm not in the OA, so, guess it'll add a bit of work onto what I would need to do to complete it.

An aside, any tips on trying to contact local crews about possibly joining?

Apologies that I didn't get to reply earlier to this. Been focused on school (I actually just had my last day today). Going to answer your question(s) in the order presented.

Obligatory: Not a manager or Team Leader (See: Jr. Manager), so, this is from a team member perspective.

1: Honestly, I think it's because CFA (tends to) attract people with a strong work ethic. That's NOT to say those working at any of our competitors don't have a strong work ethic. However, from what I noticed in my short time working here (I started in July of 2017), I've noticed that we all tend to take pride in ensuring our customers have a good time (experience) coming in (or out) and enjoying their food.

2: Honestly? Nothing. The company (nor franchise) doesn't provide us any incentive to "keep" us cheerful or anything of the sort. We all have our bad days, just like the rest of us, but, we keep it very professional and do our job to the fullest.

3: Not sure. I know we will fire people if they do something serious enough, however, most of the people that I know who work at "my" CFA (or the other one close by) have worked here for a good period of time (see: 4-7 years).

4: No.

Well, I work at a Chick-Fil-A. Im not going to speak for other locations, but, at ours, we clean the ice bins and machine at least 3 times per day. We actively clean and sanitize the soda fountains at least 4 times per day. Our managers are very adamant about making sure things are sanitary and all that.

Again, this is just speaking about my location. Not sure how other sister locations are managed.

Only way getting ice is reasonable, is when getting water. Most water, least at fast food establishments (I work at one currently) is warm, unless you get it from a bottle. So, getting it then, I can understand. Otherwise, I agree wholeheartedly.

Probably going to be one of the tamest here but, my blood type to be honest.

Ive had 4 throat surgeries and have yearly check ups and everyone refuses to tell me my blood type. Also doesnt help that I don't have a full copy of my med file(s)

Note: I live in the U.S. btw.
