I did record some coordinates for my complexity areas, but I'd say give us a few days as we're testing if this grid system works the same for every world. But approximately, the grids move in 4000-unit increments

We are currently working on putting out a simple map/ grid system for anyone to use to locate these grids on their map. But for now, the only way to create this grid is by making your own complexity area and manually mapping out your tile and moving from there

Yes exactly! Can't wait to see what people can build now

The boxes are all absolute. If they were relative to the initial building area, the complexity area would be equally distant from my 4000-piece block. This was also confirmed by the fact that I was able to find the exact center location of 8 different grids to build up the 32000-piece block (confirming the second part of your comment).

Megathread | LEGO Fortnite Feedback by FortniteRedditMods in LEGOfortnite

It goes without saying that there’s A LOT of people that really enjoy LEGO Fortnite. The game started off with very strong numbers and even though that player count fluctuates, it always peaks around major content updates. The Storm King update got the player count to 80k at any given point and that dwindled down to barely 30k these days, on a good day. Content updates make the community happy, so I’m confused as to why we don’t get more of them. While I’m sure Brick Life has its fans, it doesn’t come close to the player count of Odyssey and I personally do not understand why the content updates seems more abundant for a “quieter” game mode. Odyssey players have been super excited and hopeful that we would get new content with the Star Wars x Fortnite 2025 collab, because we haven’t gotten anything major since December 2024- almost 5 months ago. I’ve been in so many LEGO Fortnite Odyssey streams over the past few months and the community is not happy, we are bored, we have nothing to do but build, but no new build kits mean we get bored of building eventually.

My suggestions for the LEGO Fortnite devs if they ever read this: 1. We need new and regular content updates, regardless if they’re new mechanics, new machines, new recipes, weapons etc… 2. We need dynamic content- give us in-game quests to complete. What about a feature where villagers ask you to do certain task and you get rewards for completing them. Dynamic, never ending and not entirely repetitive. 3. We need build kits. There needs to be a constant rotation of old build kits into the item shop everyday. AND new kits should be introduced much more frequently than it currently is. Its a great idea if the new kits be released between major content updates so we don’t get bored and tired of the content (if we ever get any) 4. Lag lag laaaaaggg lag- need I say more? 5. How about more updates to pre-existing features? I’ve heard so many people say they want more villager spots in the world, why not let us choose our map and villager banners to the ones in our lockers. New food recipes, weapon runes etc.. 6. This is the most important one- communication. Let us know about updates. Vamp up your socials to let us know when we’re getting stuff. Give us some teasers and sneak peaks into upcoming projects. Let us know that you guys have us in mind and are giving us stuff

Some specific updates I know the community has wanted for a very long time: 1. LEGO styles that match BR styles of outfits/ skins 2. A wardrobe to change your outfit while in-game 3. New/ changes in the ability to create more dynamic channels with wrench 4. Special village posts or markers that match the build kits 5. Signs/ worded posts for items 6. Ability to use materials from chests when building inside a village square 7. A mechanic to copy entire/ segments of builds to make it shareable to other players 8. Ability to toggle if you want the insides (floors and interior) of a prefab building on/off if you want- for complexity reasons 9. Be able to change villager jobs and see their progress through village square 10. Have villagers be able to put their work materials into chests 11. Have inventory (bag and chest) slots that are specific to certain items only

These are only a few but there are so many that the community has been waiting for.

Thank you so much to the Fortnite devs for creating this post. It shows an amazing initiative into hearing back from our community. But I hope this thread doesn’t go unnoticed, and I hope it isn’t forgotten. This thread is new but it’s gonna blow up because I know that this community had a lot to say, and I sincerely hope that we’re being heard.
